I have an interesting, all be it possibly incorrect idea,  as some of you know, i have a 250GB hard drive in my ps3, and even fewer may know i have 5g internet, and even fewer may know i have a ps3 in my living room, and that ps3 has the 40GB harddrive!  EVERY thing on my own PS3(250G) goes MUCH faster, it loads games faster, downloads things faster, installs things faster! Any thoughts?!  I have rented 2 HD movies from PSN, one was on my 40G ps3, and the other one was rented on my 250G ps3, and the 40G took forever, it literally took 4 hours to fully download, and my 250G was almost half the time!

I have small hands and the xbox fits perfect. The PS3 doesn't feel right for me.

Also the PS3 updates take about an hour at least on the 360 the tell you how long it will take which is always less the 20 mintues for me

with sysrem update 3.0 coming soon it completely changes the ps3 online experience which will have a better online experience than xbox! goodbye xbox update 3.0 is gonna finish your a**!

True, but can't some PS3s get YLOD or Bluray/ Hard Drive failure or whatever happened to Crow's PS3?

The PS3 isn't exactly perfect, but I'll still take it over a 360 or Wii, though my second choice would probably be the Wii, mainly because of Virtual Console.

A small point here but as a games console there isn't much in the performance of the 2 machines in-game. Reliability, the stigma of RROD plagues xBox along with its relatively poor after sales care/support. More xbox 360 units have been shipped hence more complaints - everyone knows someone who has had a serious problem with the 360. Yet curiously, everyone in this community knows of someone with the same experience with the PS3. Sony's support is much better than MS so we actually like the fact that there is more security with Sony - they care more bout their reputation. I talked to a guy in The Nederlaands who was about as warm and caring as a refrigeration units in a mortuary when my first 360 died so yea it shows.
As a media centre and for potential you got to go with PS3 atm imho - PS4 may not be in 2010 as scheduled, I think they planned to develop a new chipset for it but cant afford to do so. As I mentioned b4 the processor IS gay but, as immersive technology goes,  they're trying to catch up with Nintendo. Take a look at this NEW PS3 controller. Its from E3 2009 (I think and I know some good peeps posted stuff on this show so apologies if its the same material I didnt have time to view that stuff back then). Virtual UT4 anyone???

I personally like my 360 better. Games for both systems seem to run better on the 360. I believe this is because they make the game for the 360 because it's so easy to program for, then they port it over to the ps3, therefore, no one takes avantage of the ps3 power except for exclusive games. I also like the fact that I can put 360 games on my harddrive if I like, but don't have to like the ps3. Metal Gear takes up like 10gb of space and I believe Gran Turismo does too. I have over 80 games on my 360 and my favorite game of all time is Ma** Effect which is a 360 exclusive. I never owned a original xbox because I was a die hard playstation man, but when Oblivion came out on the 360 I bought one just to play that game. I like the controller alot more, shooting games fill like your pulling a trigger on a gun and the ps3 trigger is a wide shoulder button that doesn't work as a trigger. I have a 80gb harddrive on my ps3 but half of it is taken up with only 4 games. I have a 20gb drive on my 360 and have a couple of games installed on my drive with over 80 games saved on it, Oblivion has about 20 saved games in that one game. I had spent literally several days online downloading maps and mods for ut3 on my ps3, lost it all because of a update. When I got Metal Gear, it took 45 to download to my ps3 then there was an update for it that took another 45 minutes, that's insane. Update on my 360 never takes more than a minute, even when they changed their entire interface. When I research a game that's coming out and there's side by side screen shot comparisions, I always think the 360 looks better and when they talk about problems with a game on one system or the other, there's always a problem on the ps3 version, once again, I believe that goes back to the fact the game was made on the 360 then ported over.

Nah mate too damn small. And as for the comms well, u dont get a mic with the PS3 u have to purchase. The official PS3 wireless headset is garb - unreliable, uncomfortable and poor quality - ive nothing good to say about it. If it were free then it would be OK but people would still complain but to charge for it or pack it up with a game simply damages Sony's reputation for quality. DO NOT BUY THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK< EVER. At least you get a free one with Xbox but their wireless headset is heavy and garb too haha!

I looked at all the bad and good sides of Xbox 360 and PS3.. and eventually I came to the conclusion that PS3 is just better.. thats why I vote for PS3, also because it looks better.

But another thing Nintendo dissapointed me in.. I'm a huge Zelda & Super Smash Bros. fan and I was so hoping to see those games on a whole new level using HD. And they didn't... sure Wii is fun.. but if the Wii didn't had Zelda, SSB, Mario Kart and whatnot then sales would have gone down, because for me that was one of the few reason to consider buying the Wii.. even my friends were considering buying the Wii JUST because of those games.
