i think they all just mad bc now they stuck with that old $500 dollar pile of ugly BIG poop with a slower processor that will blow up yellow lights any day now...

does anyone actually think it's "lots uglier" ?? it looks waaay better then launch ps3's.

interesting man..I have a launch system also and haven't had any crashes except for when UT3 was really unstable (pre-patches)

some more info, apparently the hdmi chip on the new ps3 is improved and allows for the new dolby truehd and dts-hd master audio

I own the 160GB PS3 that included Drake's Fortune & the free voucher for Pain & I couldn't be happier.

The only discrepancy that I care about besides the trivial differences that distinguish each system is the price point - the more people that own the PS3 the better.

The ‘overweight’ (considering that ‘slim’ is the keyword here) PS3's have always been aesthetically sexy to me.

have you seen the 360 or read up about it? its uglier than sin and has around a 50% chance of failing and not working shortly down the line. yet it still outsells the ps3. but thank god sony made improvements to their system, or i was going to have to go back to pc gaming 100%. i just dont like investing a good sum of money and it just pooping out on me very quickly. id settle for a little less looks and a better machine anyday over a good looking pile of ****. if you read about the slim, you would know its the best gaming system ever made in overall terms. even better than its mother, the old ps3.


As far as how the 360 looks or sells......not really what I was talking about. The hardware in the new PS3? Seems like an improvement but again, not what I was talking about. You can bring all that into this that is totally fine, but know that is exactly what is happening. I just started a thread asking what everyone's take on the looks are. "Don't care" was your option.....not "Don't care because....". As I mentioned before, this thread is geared toward opinions on the looks. You should probably just leave this discussion to the shallow a$$holes like my self. Wink
