So whats the verdict on MAG people? looks like some developers wanted to prove to Infinity Ward theirs is bigger
uhhh first Socom has ALWAYS been bigger than COD until ps3 came out because Zipper did NOT make Socom:Confrontation Slant Six did and they screwed it up MAG has been in development since almost the same time Confrontation has been except Zipper is trying to do a little better than SS because they pushed out a BETA game and IMO they f***ed Socom hard
 
IMO Zipper will ALWAYS be better than Infinity Ward

I hated it in the beginning, but once I learned the maps, 
and understood the objectives, it became more fun and I enjoyed it.  
I still don't understand half of the objectives though   xD and I still suck.... 
not sure if you really can compare it to CoD.

I played a game last nite and couldn't really get into it.  Presentation was nice but the graphics and shooting just seemed clunky to me.  I need to play some more but so far MAG sucks balls to me

Hey, we'll have to get a tally of the Valor guys so we can play together on the beta/when the game is released.  So far I see myself, qwest, ramslayer, penguin, and surfacing.

Where did you get a Key?


Follow the link to get the key.  After that go on your PS3, head to PS store, click 'redeem code' in the upper right hand corner then and enter the beta key.  You'll DL an approximately 200mb file followed by a 1.8gb file.  You've got the beta.  Now register at the exclusive beta forums by logging back in to PSN on a computer and clicking the beta button just under your name (next to logout).  Follow the instructions and register to provide feedback to the dev.s and discuss with other beta testers.  The other forum is public and can be found on MAG's website.

I dont think you can personally compare CODMW2 graphics to MAG, CODMW2 has weird graphics, like it tries to be too real but ends up looking like a B movie film, other than that MW2 has great graphics,  now MAG has really shadowy gritty graphics.

the graphics are a lot better then i thought that they were going to be. and the layout of the levels are orgasmic and super strategic. But yeah they need to fix that sniper. Im Valor wats ur cla**??? and im digging the deploy screen and ****.

IDK - I just know I can see the bad guys easier out of the box in this one.  It also has some in game gamma correction settings that were easy to find.  I need to peek around in CODMW2 a bit to find if I can get it set right for my frail old eyes.

I was wondering the same thing.  I popped this one dude 3 times with the sniper rifle and he ran away.  I did get experience points for each hit, but that dude musta been bulletproof.
1 of the things u can unlock is extra health & 1 of the snipers is a 1 shot kill but u have 2 unlock it
