I just watched Killing them softly (Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta etc.) which was .. well dead boring and just crap. But what really got me f u r i o u s, is that they dared to use Ketty Lester's "Love letters" in a S H O O T I N G _ S C E N E. I mean if you are out of ideas, don't copy them straight from a Lynch movie. You will crash and burn! So goddamn obvious ![]() Blue Velvet has one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever made, imho. The contrast Lynch makes with music and twisted visuals is impeccable. I also recommend the Dune book series by Frank Herbert, I think Lynch really nailed the mood in them in the movie version. |

Just got through watching it and it is definitely one of my favorites now. It's a German scifi movie from the 70s and basically asks the question "What is reality?". If you have Hulu then check it out, it's part of the criterion collection which consists of some of the greatest movies to ever be made and they are all on Hulu. All 700 of them ha |

I saw shutter Island and it was Okay. A step down for there previous movies but still a good watch.

Also just a little predictable. If you enjoyed that movie, you need to watch memento! Seen it 3 times and still amazed they pulled that sh1t off. Also, if any one has not seen inglorious basterds, CHECK IT OUT!!!  Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese hardly ever disappoint, so i strongly suggest you check out all there movies!! lolol

I saw Shutter Island on Wednesday night & I was thoroughly impressed... Probably my favorite physiological thriller of all time.

Though Martin Scorsese is my favorite director, I've never really been a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio. But between this movie, Gangs of New York & The Departed, homeboy has grown on me. It takes a very talented actor to carry a film where the camera is focused on you 98% of the time & he did one helluva job. If you're a Scorsese fan or a person that enjoys physiological thrillers in general, you owe it to yourself to check this movie out! |

Fantastic Mr. Fox by Wes Anderson is the best movie of 2009. A must see!

Best part of the movie was the Rat "So, Rat, what have you been looking for all these years?" "Cider.." Good soundtrack too!
