VCTF Hoverboard problems

ive been playing quite abit of VCTF over the past year and i keep having this annoying problem, it doesnt always happen but when it does i just end up leaving coz it pisses me of

when i try and get on my hoverboard the game goes into spectator mode and puts me under the map and cant see my player, and i know this would be down to lag but i ping about 60-80 on EU EPIC server. i just wondered if anyone else had this problem

yep, but only when i have high ping

I often get this same problem when I'm playing WF. It usually happens when I've been playing for a couple hours. I usually have to exit the server and come back in to fix it.
