Ancient Hebrew is a very difficult language, and there's only a few people on earth that can inturpit it correctly.

and anything in Greek would have already been translated, so it may already have some mistakes?

id love to learn how to speak and write in Ancient Hebrew.

you have me curious about euro's being humanist and anti-GOD? so yea pm me and let me know.

Apparently, there's over a billion Atheists, nonreligious, secular, and Agnostic people in this world, so while we're a minority here in America, overall.. we're not so much of a minority after all.  There's more of us than Hindus or any other religion, beside Christianity and Islam.  I wouldn't be surprised if that number is growing.

The usual case is, when you get older, you get afraid of death,  so you find a reason to not be afraid of death.  Give any believer the choice between going to heaven and living, they'll choose living everytime.

Silver no offence but,

a) your +1 billion consists of atheists AND agnostics which makes it inaccurate - maybe u need to look up the word 'agnostic' then subtract this from your total.
b) Christianity and Islam are the only truly widespread religions. Hinduism, although it is a major religion is considered regional because the concentration of worshippers are in the Indian sub-continent (primarily India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri-Lanka).
c) Whichever way you look at it you're still in the minority (6:1 or 5:1 depending on the + factor)
d)"I wouldn't be surprised if that number is growing" meaning u would like to believe? but what proof do u have? lol.

yea but how do the numbers really matter anyway? most athiest are only athiest because they don't believe! although im sure some athiests would still choose not to except GOD even if they knew he existed. most would probably except GOD.

either way its not a im right and your wrong situation! altough i am right and non-believers just can't except that!

No mate u believe u r right - its about conviction, same as theirs. Also when u said most people r atheists because they don't believe, actually ALL who deny (do NOT believe) the existence of God r atheists, agnostics neither believe nor refute God's existence so they shouldn't b categorised as 'non-believers' or atheists. Thats what im trying 2 say 2 Silver.

all about conviction? i don't believe that at all! but my point is that, pointing out how many people there are that deny GOD doesn't say anything as to weather GOD exists or weather someone should be religious or not.

what is dark energy? and what percentage of everything known is filled with dark energy?

oOPS i think we need a science thread lol

well i do agree there is a clear line between the definition of agnostic and atheist, im not sure i agree that he shouldn't count then, after all, at their basest levels both do not believe in the christian god, or any god for that matter -its just to what degree, one leaves the possibility open that they could be wrong and a god does exist while the other flat out denies its existence - (i think itd probably be more appropriate to view them as two separate denomintions - for lack of a better word - of the same belief) like how christianity as a religion is comprised of catholics, protestants, quakers, puritans, etc, etc....all at their basest forms believe in Jesus, use the Bible, etc....but each does it in their own unique way. just my take on it tho.

TX agreed IF Silver uses we as representing those who do not believe in God (christian or otherwise) like u say. He obviously does so too by breaking down into Atheists, agnostics etc. But in the same way you can count those who don't deny the existence of God but this will not include agnostics hence the actual figures dwindle and the ratio of those who deny to those who don't is even greater.
My point is that statistically people often use the 'other' category to their advantage which skews the picture. Its better to be clear and say those who believe in God (religious), those who don't deny God exists (atheists) and those who neither deny or believe/are unsure/sceptical (agnostics). That way neither of the polarised groups benefit and everyone is clear as to where the actual figures originate.

Actually, I meant "we" as in us on the fencers and nonbelievers.  Look at all those people who either don't believe or don't care.  That's what I intended to say.  Oh, and I love this one religion started letting outsiders join, just because their numbers were dwindling.  Imagine if most Hindu descendants start converting to other religions or become Atheists and Agnostics.  I wonder if they'll end up doing the same, in order to save their religion.

http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html#Zoroastrianism

Edit: Based on what the chart said, if you separate the two groups, Atheists would still number around 500,000,000 plus.  That would put actual Atheists behind Hinduism and possibly Agnosticism.  Theoretically speaking, the actual number of Atheists would be around 519 million, since Juche's are basically Atheists, as they consider themselves as secular/ nonreligious.
