just noticed this game has player vs player, and it comes out tommorow.
 
me and my buddies been battling our characters on castle crashers.. and a few of us might get this because according to the reviews its extremely casual compared to a typical mmo like world of warcraft. Only about 20-30 levels max and you can do it in hours not months.
 
anyone looking into this game at all? or played the beta? i need some info on if the gameplay and combat are good

and i know we got a bunch of comic nerds on this site, including myself.. this game would be better if it was marvel but dc will do :)
 
the only thing that does stink is their is a monthly fee of like 10-15 bucks i guess.. no biggy imo but that keeps alot of potential players away..

game is pretty good.. in a few hours i was 1/3rd of the way to the level max so its pretty casual.. but the combat is intense.. just trying to do anything in the game you ussually run into large crews of players out to kill you.. a large clan like a-r or *** could be deadly in a game like this.
 
so far ive pretty much **** on everyone ive fought.. ive been ****d by groups of 5+ a few times but 1v1 my guy is pretty badass

down 4 a 1v1 there with anyone!! 4v4 or 6v6 is where its at!! game is serious when u reach level 30+ its all about unlocking all the iconic powers

what server you on strider? im a villan on "no man's land" server.. idk they probably have the EU and US servers seperated.. but if you are on that server let me know

im a hero, i will check what server it is n let u know! im in gotham at the moment just ronding up some cash! EU servers are separated from US ones but you can cross servers! i thought £50 was a bit much 4 a six month pass but hey fck it

i def think its worth it.. it reminds me alot of infamous but also alot of games like "diablo"... TONS of items and gear to collect and its just about as robust as diablo as far as leveling up and gear but its fast paced and fun like infamous.
 
as far as the player vs player.. which is the best part of the game.. i think its great.. works very well for large scale battles, for smaller scale battles, and 1v1s.. and i havent even done any of the capture the flag or arena modes yet

im using Mental for my power class. and hand blasters for my weapon class.. works well

damn they let people from the beta keep their characters and loot? thats quite the headstart :)
 
im really enjoying the game with controller.. doubt ill try kbm.. maybe keyboard eventually for chatting
 
and yes.. sony did do a good job with this game.. you can tell they put alot into it

do a PVP server, not a PVE server.. PVP server is intense.. game wouldnt be as fun if i didnt have to watch my back 24/7.
 
my suggestion is "no man's land"
 
anyone from this forum thats EU should all join the same server, and anyone from this forum from US should all join the same server.. its a pity we cant all be on 1 server but i want any US players that can play on no mans land to play on it.. we can form a legion and cause alot of terror (oh yea choose villan morality.. heros currently have the upper hand as far as numbers.. we need to create a killing squad!)

if we can get a bunch of people on board.. we could make this badas.. incrementals gonna talk to wopr tonight.. but if we got like 20 people intrested we could make an unreal themed legion (clan) [possibly call it "Unreal"] and we could rep ut3 and pretty much run **** in this game..

I'm playing it too, but on Crisis (PvE) server.  I'm thinking about joining a PvP server but I've already started like 3 characters, I need to settle on one already! 
 
Its fun, though.  I think I'm going to play it like all weekend long, haha.
