It's possible that some kind of announcement will be forthcoming from Epic.... Wishful thinking ? Maybe but...Why is Flak all of a sudden actively supporting UT3 on the 360? A few days ago she stickied a thread about a monthly game we're having AND she is supplying UT3 gifts to give away for people who participate...Now she's giving other UT3 stuff away to gamers....
They could just be getting rid of surplus stuff they have hanging around but I don't know ...it makes me think they could be ready to announce something!!

Okay, well some of the gifts she's supplying for our monthly games is Gears stuff also, but UT3 goodies too (the soundtrack to the game). The main reason I think something may be up though, is the fact that she stickied the thread... This game has been out a long time on the 360 and NOW they are actively supporting our gaming night?!? I'm choosing to be optimistic.

She's actively moderating a corporate sponsored forum. Some of it is understandable. Of course, some is not.
Look at the complete ass I made of myself in the early days of this site. The gaming community is what it is and people shouldn't lose a lot of sleep trying to make it something it isn't. At least that's what I took away from my experience here. If I had it to do over, I would have turned it over to Pinnacle, Two_Fase and Potorikan on day one.

flak has allways been bless with me n she has constantly restored servers etc 4 the last year or so! she works for epic games so she cant allow da BS that goes on here to happen there n seeing what a BS mess this site has become who can blame her!

yea i dont blame her for banning me.. i do think several people were banned without much incident tho and thats what i was referring to.
as far as this site.. its still alive.. i do think the fist of fury section has done some good.. and def some bad for the site. it allowed us all to get way to carried away.. i mean the first of fury section is basically and unmoderated forum..

Because Mark Rein shot off his mouth about the Unreal Engine 4. He basically said that when the PS4 and Xbox 720 arrive on the market UE4 won’t run on them either. Unreal Engine 3 is therefore going to be around for at least another 5-7 years, with version 4 of the engine looking likely to turn up in time to support PlayStation 5 and whatever Microsoft decide to call that generation of Xbox. That said, they are trying to reignite interest regarding UE3, especially since Crytek is about to launch their new engine which is competing with UE3.

I was Godlike_NRG FYI, I joined unreal_NRG and a couple other guys I think ChrissC and Babs temporarily when the other Blackcats said they were leaving the game to to no competition. I bet I could still remember the email address and password I used to get that account back. |
