since I purchased UT3 on March 1st, 2008 and still play pretty regularly. who among the still active players has had it longer? you can find your date of install in the game data on your PS3. just find the UT3 file, hit triangle and go to information. i believe the release date was sometime in November, 2007.

3/22/2008 but I was playing the game on my brothers PS3 before I bought my PS3 so technically I was playing earlier, probably back near release date.

April something, 2008. I got it when I got my PS3 and my other first game, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. I later traded in the second game, but I still have UT3.

got it around jan 09 played it until about late dec 09 when i got mw2 :) only took me one year to kick a lot of ya'll asses XD... still played it every once in a while tho in 2010

got it at the beginning, mostly playing on campaign until like a few months afterwards started to play other modes. now i'm out until i buy a new ps3.

I was given this game the same time I got my PS3 back in 2007. It really is interesting because the way I see it is that my dad bought me a brand new $60 game without me telling him to by it. He bought me my first online multiplayer on a whim and I still play it to this very day. He probably doesn't even realize how much the game he bought me 3 years ago has affected what games I play and who I am as a person. I really have to talk to him about it one day...

I got this game on day one and was the reason for me to make the big push on buying the ps3 before hand. I waited in lines for the release of ps1 and ps2 . I just couldn't accept the $600 price tag of ps3 , but when it reduced to $500 just before the release of ut3 , I caved in .Unreal was my favorite game also for ps2 when it comes to replay value . |

Got it on release day in EU I think it was 18th march 2008. First map played was Necropolis because I was curious about the new vCTF mode. And I remember a guy called 'Howsmydriving' being on my team and thinking wtf when the statue in the middle of the pool came to life. When I played suspense I just explored the map and thought wow! By the time I got to experience my first Sandstorm i'd creamed my boxers. First guy I saw who's still playing was Coolworx - I remember thinking is that a bot cos he always grabbed the flag lol.
My fave game of all time and always will be.
