Sonys latest statement contradicts a comment made just the previous day by Sony
CEO and Chairman Howard Stringer who said "in the coming days, we will restore
service to the networks." Sony had also teased eager PSN gamers dropping
hints that the PSN service would soon be restored, stating it had begun "the final stages of internal testing of
the new system." Which was never true

PSN is SOL!!! And unfortunately so r we!!! As us 40mill+ usta-users globally have spent @ least $250.00 u.s. dollars for their systems + controllers, acc...etc. dwnlble content, & disc-games!!! About five- hundred bux we ALL (on average) spent on our systems!! And the wifi & dmz port!!! We have alot invested here!!!! Most of today's games r integrated with the network!!! That sux unfortunately!! lost the ability to chat with freinds we have ALL met from dwn the block 2 across the pond and beyond!!!! When sol errr psn finally comes up, We will be ecstatic!!!! Til then we as a whole r getting frustrated!!! So we vent. We all have done it here!! I'm sure were all dying to get back 2 blk ops, ut3, mk, p2, moh, back in their car in gt5 AND FREINDS!!!!! Rather take a online headshot then hearing working around the stages & final clocks!!! Or sumpin like that!! Point is the psn dramatically increases re-playability of our games!!!!

I think it's hilarious that people rage so much over not being able to play online for a couple weeks. But I grew up in the NES/SNES/Genesis days, where multiplayer required you to have another person in the same room with you. And as soon as they left, multiplayer went down. There are plenty of great single player games. |

yea but it says fully operational until so I expect PSN gaming back up b4 then. Looking at it from a security angle I would think they're gonna want us to buy over PSN like b4 but they need to show that its totally safe. Maybe this is a feature that will delay full operation idk. Either way the "pay to DL releases" r gonna get smacked around quite a bit cos people cant buy then people wont feel safe to buy. Wonder what Sony will offer them LMAO!!

may 30th? thats unacceptable and ridiculous, and if we really have to pay for online gaming for there mistakes i wouldn't even play anymore. the ps3 is not worth paying for from my point of view. and i rather get a 360 for there features and appendable equipment rather then the ps3's.

guys we already know this.. they said the FULL service will be up within the month.... that was already told to us... that measn that not EVERYTHING will be up until then... but we have already been told that some features such as online gaming, friends, chat, account management and reset password will be available very soon... that site just dug up info from what we already knew but left out the part where the core servies are returning soon which we already know.... dont worry guys lol
also the fact that the site didnt include as much updated info such as the one which zoltreken posted which stated about we will be getting 4 games and the possible likey features of the "new" psn suggest that the site just posted isnt as clued on whats going on... |
