Primary Flak is a very cheesy weapon. I lose a great deal of respect for duelers that use it as a crutch to win a match they would otherwise lose.

The flak does fire a lil funky now & again. i think lag,ping, & whose server ur on @ the time r all 2 blame!!

don't wanna go on and on about my high ping all the time but i gotta chime in here cuz i hate that weapon with a passion.. and that's bc if you got high enough ping the flak primary will kill you sooo easy, it's like every flak noob got udamage. and those losers will taunt you after they kill you with flak primary too lol it sucks
flak secondary is aite tho |

With high ping I always think what I see isnt what the other player sees or what the game registers. Notice how you often die just as a player fires his weapon? In other words accuracy goes out the window so flak and link on a high ping whilst delayed still register but not in the way you are used to on normal ping.
Drokun's point is valid too its way overpowered now taking out vehicles with 100% helath with one shot. And being flakked from one side of a map with high ping is no joke. You hear/see it coming, get tagged, the action slows then arrgh! and respawn animation kicks in - wtf!

yeah that happen sometimes. flak's shot 1 works still but the shot 2 sucks with sucking pings.

flak usually seems to stick together better on low ping than high.. maybe it's the difference in spread between where you are on your screen when you fire and the where you are at the server

I dont know if anyone else has noticed but when you are playing with 150 plus ping the flak is like watered down and doesn't work properly.
I was playing on the EU server and was playing Defence and was doing a Bumrumsh and using flak to hold the flag down and it was easy with 30 ping and the enemy team didnt score once and I came out with about 200 points and I tryed doing the same on Bears server and I was failing so bad I was flakking people and they were not dying until like the 3rd maybe 4th flak. I dont really understand why but its pretty frustrating :/ |
