When you break it down to the basics they are all the same, UT99 is just a slower version of UT3 at its core.... thats what people do to CoD when you say they are all the same, you break it down to basics. Feel like im defending CoD lol im a bigger UT fan no doubt. Just trying to say that you shouldn't judge a game that you dont like. Especially if you've never played it.

People throw the ax hundreds of yards away and it kills them, I can post some Youtube videos if you would like an example... it's like if you were standing two blocks away from me, I throw an ax.. it hits the ground and the ax bounces up and hits your leg.. you're saying you would you die from that? That's being realistic huh? Wow.. I don't know what axes you mess around with. "YOU HAVE TO PLAY THEM TO FIGURE OUT. Shouldn't judge a game off what you seen on youtube." and you shouldn't judge a person without knowing all the details. I have played COD MW, the first game, so yes.. I do know what they are like and how they are played without youtube. Nothing you can say will make me change my mind on this, I've been there, done that and think that the gaming franchises are broken records. I'm glad you guys enjoy them but I'm looking for some games with more creativity, less clones! Don't know why the quotes weren't working.. hmm |

Yeah i never disagreed with what you said about that, but dont understand how you can be critical about that then turn around and complain about how it only takes 2 hits and your dead and you didn't have enough time to see where the shot came from.... So what i get from that is... You want more unrealistic gun fire, but more realistic use of a fvcking ax.

90% of the non COD cloned FPS games all have indicators that show up when you are being shot, this is a feature which I enjoy.. it gives me a chance to react and defend myself. I wasn't arguing about this being used as a realistic aspect.. just a feature I enjoy and have a hard time playing without it without getting frustrated.
Now the ax part of it just doesn't make any sense if the COD franchise is trying to give you the most realistic war combat experience, you can die by a gun like you would in real life..I get that...but the ax? They must of missed the physics part of that, it's something I would expect seeing on Looney Toones. |

Well the ax killing a b1tch instantly is a feature that others enjoy. BTW all COD games have hit indicators. and when you get shot, you should find cover before looking for them and check that indicator, thats how you dont die. So yeah, if you would play the game first before you judge it you might just know that ;)

its crazy how i been playing ut3 for 2-3 years and payed 13 dollars for it and it was the 1st and best online game ive ever played before with the same damn 5-7 maps we play for vctf. now a COD game every month(yes every month with map packs costin 5 dollars each) and COD games cost 60 dollars and i/ppl(pointing at ut3 ppl) play them and get bored with them after a few months, weeks, even days of gameplay and goes back to ut3.
im always down for a pug or clan match, i/we just need ppl that are willing to play.
btw i like what Tripx said nice one nooby
