I just saw his reddit ama, this is basically what he had to say about a new UT.

As far as a new UT, it's hard to say. Shooters and their sequels are a tricky beast. Often you wind up upsetting your core whenever you make a sequel because sometimes you change things the users didn't want changed, or the users are so very in love with their memory of the original game that there's nothing you can do to live up to the first game. Bulletstorm was a flop, and everyone was let down..... I remember I was going to drop this for that game until I found out they didn't have custom matches or clan based multiplayer modes...

On the real though, if ANY game added the double jump feature and a weapon that is similar to the shock rifle/ shock combo, then I would be on it all day.. I say this time and time again, the hit scan/ shock combo has me coming back for more action... No game is like that.. I'm not sure why Unreal is the only series that incorporates a weapon that requires as much skill as the shock rifle/combo..  I damn near dropped my drink when I first realized the shock balls could be blown up!!

Epic's next UT title was when announced said to be a PC only game.

Wondering what this might be then.
