Yep Smiths are one of my favorite bands ever... lived near where they came up...

Infact Manchester rocks in general.

Oasis
Smiths
Stone Roses
Joy Division

Manchester United
Manchester City

MEN Arena

Old Trafford - cricket and footie.

I did watch the vids above and weren't really my thing but they are defo obscure :)

Totally a compiment. Most of the music I listen to is off the mainstream path. I wouldn't know about it if people like you didn't turn me on to it.
Just a couple of weeks ago, SickBoogie put up a link to this band he described as Folk-Metal. It was great.
