I know where you're coming from Dan but the 2 situations are different. For gg is like shaking hands after the game as a mark of respect to the opponents for a well earned win but also in recognition of both teams efforts. So if im not in the 'wtf just happened?' train of thought i always try to say 'well done, gg,' etc. I do this eeven when i feel the circumstances surrounding the game were 'less than fair' - 2 players down, facing a roster with known talent against largely noobs. I gladly switch stances to say 'thanks for spawnkills fu.kwit' or b1tch glitcher or something sarcastic when team members on opposite side cheat outright, yea tnuc sounds about right to me, its well earned.
TX is right there are too many ungracious losers, the types who only mouth off and whoot! when they win - proly say gg too then - but to them I say 'oi! your silence is deafening mate'. Just learn to expect it but not to accept it and all will be well in the universe.

i agree, i always say GG just to Show a bit of respect, no matter if i win or i got stomped.
I always find it funny when people talk loads of sh!t B4 a game and once they lose, have sh!t to say.
Kinda makes it worth it.

I might say it if it was actually good and long, hard fought game.  If it's 3-0 or more (or I didn't like their tactics or I'm pissed off), forget about it.  It's generally a good idea that if I'm pissed off, that I say nothing anyways, since it's probably going to be a negative comment/ insult.

u rarely speak tho lol. but if u use ur mic all game long to talk wat would it hurt to take 2 secs to say "gg guys". it does show a general level of respect between 2 teams over a hard fought game (whether the score shows it or not). i think its kind of sad wen an opposing team doesnt hav the courtesy to giv a simple "gg" especially from people who like to rant all game.

MikeyBrennan. He calls his boy lethalants who is playing against us in Sandstorm. He puts lethalants on speaker so everyone can hear him through (Mikeys) his mic. He says things like "where is the flag carrier?" and "i am getting the flag don't let them kill me". I could go on about the awesome things he says but I will leave you with those two gems.

And for the record lethalants didn't really play along.

If you read this Mikey, i am nothing against you. But you did try to have your boy protect you on the other team in a server with no friendly fire.
