One year ago today iAMGaming.com went live and was opened to the UT3 community for the first time.
A lot of water has pa**ed under the bridge and a lot of good came from this site. Seeing how many friendships and clans have formed here, it is easy to forget the drama and look at what matters most. It's a gaming site. One that is filled with all the personalities and quirks of everyone here. It works and the diversity of the membership is what makes it strong.
Enjoy this site. Move on to other games and talk about them here. That was the original intent. I hope you all continue to make it work. Always remember that it is your differences that make it interesting!

Once again thanks for the old SMP lot for inviting me here, beleive I was one of the first!
I think the whole ut3 scene is better off coz of this site.

1 year ago........the good ol' days. lol i remember we (SMP) were looking to get a site going and we were trying to come up with some ideas on how to go about doing it. i had just recruited AQUAKNOT (now known as sickNvisious) and had a convo mentioning the idea of a site.
his response was "i know how to do do that" i said "really" "yeah all you gotta do is get a domain name that's available............" after that everything else souded like a foreign language. so from there it was built as a site for the team and later opened up for multiple clans. the funny part is none of this would've happened had i not hara**ed AQUA to get a mic after playing with him for so long. lol. Many Thanks Again. i know it was a lot of hard work and now we have something hundreds of people enjoy

lol - yeah... in some respects it was better without a mic. Peace and quiet, nobody crying or singing. Those were the "good ol' days" for sure, except the part where Two_Fase was constantly telling me to get a mic... like every frickin' day for a month!.
I remember my biggest goal with this game was to get recruited by SMP. That team was cool, friendly and active. Now there are only a handful of active teams and it's time for the community to move to the next game I suppose.

Many memories from this time last year. I look back and miss a lot, learned a lot. Many thanks to Aqua and the whole SMP clan back then.
Despite past issues, thanks to Prodigy for inviting me on this site and into SMP. He's what got me involved on this site and introduced me to some great friends. |

I'm sad I didn't play this game when it first came out.
I remember buying it and thinking the campaign mode was crap ... never finished it or went online so I shelved it and got into other games.
I remember finally getting on the multiplayer around september/october of '08 (after i finished GTAIV) and getting crushed by the likes of SMP and T-H-E ... but always came back for more.
eventually Phantom asked me to join Heavenly and I came on iamgaming in March ... great site and community.

Damn already a year has pa$$ed! I only registered on this site cuz i was told all the cool kids were doing it...If we would of just stayed on route maybe SMP would still be intact.

I am glad some of you from that clan (SMP) are still active not just on here, but on other games.. You guys remind me of the 6 feet under clan (6FU). Long friendships on and off the gaming network. I appreciate you all for hosting such a website.
