Not really. Many people are not happy with some of the changes with the Xbox One so they're going to buy a Ps4. I personally know several people who are getting the Xbox One, but I still am.
 
Yeah I figured that out lol, but Sony took a hit with this update.
I figure people who got there PS3 wrecked with this update should certainly be raging and not be getting a PS4.

But your getting both PS4 and Xbox One? Pff, thats like, destroyin salaries. lol
Since you gotta pay for getting online for both now as well..
 
Yeah i'll probably get both but, i'll get the Xbox One first. The only reason I'm getting a Ps4 is for the PSN exclusives like Infamous.

You can yes, if you actually reach the safe mode.
I've read that most people who suffered from this updated couldnt start their PS3's anymore.
Well, they could, but they would see all kinds of weird green bars on screen after starting.

Oh btw. This update has been rereleased, because my brother just installed it.
Went fine without problems. Sony should have fixed this (hopefully)

Once the console is brick, basically its time to buy a new PS3. If they have a warranty, they can send it to Sony to get a refurbish PS3.

If you cant update your software since your PS3 is basically fvcked and there is no secondary option to boot and update from Flash f.e. , then the next action would be most likelt to either send your PS3 up for repairs or burn your PS3 to ash

Update: Sony remove firmware 4.45 due to brick thousands of PS3. Firmware 4.41 is back now so its safe to get online.

Some are saying it's affecting a few of the newer 500 GB systems too. I'm so glad I'm out of town or i would have got that update last night
