DUEL TIER

ha yeah it is def a mental thing but map control and hitscan are important too. playing smart is part of the mental thing XD. LOL well im down to duel more

yeah but it was a fluke. i work all day and was tired and it happened to be my first duel of the day. i played him earlier this time and i was warmed up so i destroyed him :-›. you can ask pot, he was in the room spectating
yeah, all you do is pretend chest armor is belt ha. i actually like it but i wish pot would go for belt sometimes

how does not using belt make you a better dueler?

Maybe just maybe  a better killer. But not a better dueler. They are not the same.

death and phant, you are both right. frag replaces the belt with chest and times it but i would rather go for belt any day. he doesnt take the game seriously or he would go for belt. he kinda thinks the belt in duel makes the game boring with the cat and mouse gameplay. if we have another duel tourny im going to make him enter and use belt

i guess what im saying doesnt it make him a better dueler to beat a extremely top level dueler without using the belt?  he knows all about map control and chooses not to use it which is a different matter, back to your point.. i did see frag beat bum with a good lead and bum used the belt every time it came up just about on the second.  that kinda nulls out the better killer vs dueler theory

i know you didnt but you were compairing killing skill vs being the better dueler, and kinda made it sound like frag was a better killer than dueler, but our discussion was about his "why" to choose to not use the belt is all i was trying to get at.  i do think if you can better a top level dueler tho without using the belt it not only makes you the better killer but also the better dueler cause of what i was saying b4... you have to not get killed in that process vs using brute froce through killing skill to win, i would agree if frag used flak more than about 5% of the time in duel but actually i dont even know if he has ever killed me more than a handful of times with that weapon n duel lol

Frag did time the belt though, he just used it as bait and he was always stacked with health vials.
Unreal Championship did not have a belt but that's because it wasnt really needed because in that game you seriously had to have killing skills to win. You timed the chest armor and vials were a big part too.
