haha Pittsburgh handed the Vikings their first loss of the season, many thanks to Chester Taylor for helping Favre throw the game winning touchdown....to the Steelers linebacker! lol

Damn.. it looks like New Orleans might lose to, though they're starting rally and only have 10 points between them and Miami.. and they got the ball, so they might make it three.

Update: They're in Miami's Red Zone.

Oh, and I had a good idea Cincinnati might win, but damn.. 45-10?  Those Bengals are running all over the Bears.  So much for picking the Bears.  Those Bengals have got to be one of the more underrated teams, along with Houston, who I had losing this week.

Also, is it just me or is this the week of the rout/ a**-kicking?  Out of the 11 games played or being played, five of them were/ are pretty much already over or were over before the second half.

Envy my man, this is a weak argument.  This is why we need a Division 1A college playoff  Because Bama wasn't as dominant as they have been they don't deserve it?...Didn't Texas have to hold on against their rival last week in OU?  OU is 4-3, Tenn is 3-4.  Both have outstanding defenses.  And OU was using their backup QB.  OU to Texas is like Tennessee to Alabama.  What does the most important stat show Wink  (Bama 12 Tennessee 10).

Good teams find a way to win...see Ohio State in 02 having to beat a bad Illinois team in OT, see Florida in 06 blocking a field goal against South Carolina, see Texas in 05 making a 2nd half comeback against Ok State, see Oklahoma in 2000 holding on to beat Ok State, see Alabama in 1992 beating La Tech 13-0...EVERY ONE OF THOSE TEAMS WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!  GOOD TEAMS FIND A WAY TO WIN!!!
Pull up the Texas/OU box score, I'm sure it is just as impressive...BTW INGRAM FOR HEISMAN!!!!!
And one more thing, Mizzou is not that good this year.  They haven't beaten ANYONE IN A WEAK BIG 12 NORTH.  They are 0-4 in Big 12 play.  That is suppose to impress me?  Tic for tac Bama has beaten 3 top 25 teams, Texas 1 (and thats with a laughable nonconference).  Wasn't Texas trailing to the mighty Wyoming Cowboys at the half?

Again, it would not have mattered if the referees threw a flag, Bama had recovered the missed kick, it would have been a dead ball foul AFTER the kick and time had expired... Tennessee was not going to get another kick...The SEC refs would not have done that anyways after the past few weeks they've had

And.. New Orleans is the sole surviving undefeated NFC team.  They came back to win by 12 points, scoring 22 in the 4th quarter against the Dolphins, 36 in the second half. (46-34)  Also, the Bears got crushed, Buffalo beat Carolina, the Jets crushed my "wild-card" pick of the week, and Dallas actually got a win against a decent team.

lol but that is OU, not some patsy a** Tenn team. they have only lost by 5 points in 3 games. also to be honest, bama doesnt look all that good from what i saw and been seeing in the last few weeks. sure they prolly have the best o line in A1 and has a pretty decent overall D with a piss poor offense. but texas is just as good in both of those, if not better on D than bama. and we lead the nation in scoring and third down conversions. our special teams also lead the nation both ways overall. your just lucky florida is starting to look bad aswell, you guys might be lucky and actually win vrs them and play Texas in pasadena. we will just see who was right and who wasnt, but i can promise you i am. texas will play in the title game, bama will just go lose to florida and then the bowl game just like last year. the sad part is, they were better last year...

Sure my Vikings loss today, a loss is a loss but to me the Vikings was able to control the Steelers and COULD have won, regardless the game didn't mean anything they weren't in our division and we're 6-1 not even last years superbowl champions can say that. Now next sunday is going to be a REAL game, Vikes at Packers..round 2..... FIGHT!!!!!!!!!

could have won, but didn't.  i hope it's freezing in Green Bay next week, and we see Favre's arthritis creep up on him.

Yeah it should be a tough road playing Ok State, UCF, Baylor, Kansas and a lousy TAMU team...not to mention the pitiful team (prolly a Kansas St team who lost to ULL or Colorado who lost to Toledo) you will play in the Big 12 champ game...only one ranked team all season?  Bama still has a top 10 LSU team to play, then if they are fortunate to win, and get to Atlanta, the #1 team.  I'll be the first to admit Bama has not looked good in their last few games on offense (Ole Miss, SCar, and Tenn are all top 20 defenses).  Bama gets another top 20 defense in LSU coming next.  Just remember where Will Muschamp got most of his defensive schemes fromWinkWink NICK SABAN!  See you in Pasadena son and pack your galoshes...its gonna be a high Tide.

Lol.. I forgot about that.  I wonder how much better Green Bay's going to do at home.  It was kind of close game, right?  Speaking of which, I hope that doesn't mean anything for Indy, considering Jacksonville almost beat them in the opener.  Ehh.. doubt it.. Jacksonville has recently been proving just how sucky they are or so I hope.  I mean, they almost lost to the/ my Rams and got pwned by a team that turned around and got double pwned by the Cardinals. (41-0)

... speaking of which.. they beat the Giants?  They really did?  Well, so much for an undefeated season or even a bounce back game.  That's a two game slide for a supposed Super Bowl team. (someone on KHI was saying that they'd go undefeated and they were going to the Super Bowl..  I told them, along with another member or two that New Orleans was going to beat them and they did.)

lol well everyone knows that the sec is beggining to look over rated. the top teams are all playing piss poor atm. also they cant seem to stay healthy either, florida is dropping like flys out there. lsu is a joke this year, prolly the worst offense ive seen from them to date. bama better just hope the other teams cant score bc they average around 15 points per game. the sec is falling fast, just look at there stats these last three weeks. but yeah i admit, texas does have an easy scedule and i dont mind an auto national bid because of it, ill take it any day. we will just stay fresh and get better and better in the end and as time rolls on. your lucky if you can still walk after a full season in the sec, their defense is very brutal. but look at the stats, texas pretty much has the best all around defense as of now, and they are getting better and better each game it seems. just to bad we cant fire on all cylinders on offense yet, but we getting there. i cant wait until we are as good as we can be, its scary to think texas is playing at around 50-60% of their potenial...

Ehh, I didn't do all too good last week either, so I'm taking it that the first week I picked who would win was a fluke, but I'm not going to quit just yet, so let's see how close or far I am this week.

Also.. isn't this kind of sad? http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-inconvenienttruths102809&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

I can't believe the whole the deal in Washington's gotten this bad.  It's somewhat understandable, but even still, I still feel that last thing they should do is ban banner and billboards or whatever.  If this keeps up, their grave's only going to get deeper and more and more games are going to get blacked-out, for not selling enough tickets.

Baltimore > Denver (Upset bid)
Indianapolis > San Fransisco
Philadelphia > NY Giants
St. Louis > Detroit
Dallas > Seattle
Chicago > Cleveland
Houston > Buffalo
NY Jets > Miami
Jacksonville > Tennessee
San Diego > Oakland
Green Bay > Minnesota
Arizona > Carolina

Hey, I'll be the first to say, as an SEC fan I have never thought there was that much distance between the SEC and the other conferences.  However, I think its ridiculous to call schools out because they aren't putting "style points" up every week.  Bama has been playing ball for about 115 years and they have never been a "style point" school...they win the old fashioned ways, good defense, winning the turnover margin, solid kicking game, and running the football.  You are right on, with the defenses in the SEC are pretty sick.  Half the teams rank in the top 25 in total defense. (BTW Bama averages 32 points a game).  That is a huge reason you aren't seeing the "style points" from Florida or even Alabama early on.  Also, Mack Brown is 11-0 vs Ok State, you heard it here first, he will be 11-1 after Saturday.

I knew it! The SEC teams are doing ATM! The question is, are they doing it to each other?

So far, it's look like I'm either going to be 8-4 or 9-5 this week.  Finally, I'm doing good again.. lol..  Oh, and then, there was two.  Like I kind of sort of predicted, Denver fell, which leaves my Colts and the Saints as the sole surviving undefeateds.  Neither team will face each other, unless they both make the Super Bowl, so should they stay undefeated, the Super Bowl will be where we finally narrow it done to one.  I doubt either team is going undefeated though.  My Colts are good, but I doubt they're that good.  Maybe.. super bowl-worthy, but not undefeated Super Bowl champs.  The same goes for the Saints.  In fact, Atlanta might just be the team that finally beats them.. tomorrow night.  Natrually, I hope the Saints win though, since I picked them and would rather go 9-4, unless I picked against my Rams and they were still winless.

.. Oh wait, they finally won, against Detroit.  It figures that the team Detroit pa**ed the torch (the longest current losing streak) to would beat them.
