Buffalo fired d*** Jauron yesterday. I'm normally not a fan of in-season firings but, this one had to be done. Now, we can dream about getting a big name like Cowher but wind up with a name like Haslett.

actually Michigan has the most wins with 877 followed by your Texas Longhorns at 842 then ND at 837. Nebraska, Ohio St, Penn State, and Bama are the other schools to have 800+ wins.
I think Stoops would be nuts to go personally. He is already one of the best OU coaches of all time which is saying A LOT. To me there is not that much difference in OU and ND. They are in the same "elite status" that includes the likes of Nebraska, Michigan, TX, USC, Bama, Penn St, OSU, Tenn, even Florida now. And I personally think Weis is a dead man walking. Remember last year when the AD said ND should be competing for a BCS bowl every year. Well that was his warning. I even heard the Pope was willing to auction some of his bling bling for the cause. |

I didn't even realize that till this evening when I was watching sportscenter. If I am needing a coach right now, he is 1A in my book. But my money is that he won't take this one. I'm betting after the Cowboys collapse AGAIN to end the season he will end up in Dallas to replace Phillips. |

yeah they gave him what is believed to be a multimillion dollar buy out and all that like 5 games into his tenure back in 2005 b/c ND got off to a hot start LOL They were afraid the NFL would lure him back as a head coach....I don't think the NFL wants him as a janitor at this moment. For real though offensive coord is where he needs to be, not head coach

Wow, I like how TCU just lurking there, in the #4 spot. I'm actually beginning to hope that two of three end up falling, even if I doubt it. It'd be really funny if the team everyone doesn't want to face ends up getting to be in the Title game. I do see someone falling eventually and given TCU doesn't lose another game, TCU will be right there to snatch #3 at least.
