hopefully they release a patch that fixes the win7 issue soon then.. speaking of patches.. they release a HUGE update for quakelive last night.. changed alot about the game.. no longer square hitboxes they are cylndrical (sp) and they changed the netcode and a bunch of things.. basically for seasoned players itll take some time to adjust but in the end it is better.
i didnt seem to be affected to bad by the changes in the few games i played last night vs very good players i ****d easily

i un-installed and re-installed, ran as administrator and turned my firewall off and same result.
crazy lag that is just unplayable, and in 2 mins get kicked by that a.sshole punkbuster. im all out of ideas, I've tried just about everything on both firefox and IE, nothing works. it worked fine on my XP and VISTA so i think it is win7. most threads I've seen says quake on win7 don't work, few say its okay. WTF

oh rican, i was just readin the previous posts.. is your problem the punkbuster issue?
i know one fix that might work.. when you open your internet explorer dont just double click the icon, right click on it and click "run as administrator" i use to get kicked because of punkbuster but that fixed it.
oh and if you wanna see something funny watch me beat on crow :), its like ut3 all over again 40-0

yea i downloaded it and played it for about an hour.. i couldnt stand how slow it was and how aim meant nothing and it was just really bad.. its aimed @ like 11 yr olds sucks about quakelive not running well on your setup.. i dont think win7 is the problem or atleast i hope not because ill be upgrading at some point.. anyhow i wish i knew what would fix it for you but i dont :(
