yes yes, this is all very so true. FF8 for me was the last great ff imo. FFX was good as an rpg, and it was a good game, but it was no FF.

Agreed, FFVI is the best RPG to date, and the story cannot be beaten.And there is a field in XIII where you can freeroam, but it is for training missions only(much like FFX's Calm Lands, exept the one in XIII is 10x bigger)
Might be one of the only person that ha not played ff 7 I also liked part 3 a lot.

i already have it...played 2 hours and itz amazing.....they put back the atb system wich i love,and the graphicsr just awesome,cgi in the level of FF AC...i recomend it to everyone

beginning is quite boring but seems get more fun when you play more, though I'm not really happy with the fighting syteme where almost everything is controlled by AI :/

I bought it today.  It isn't that bad.  Final Fantasy 15 will be garunteed to be better in the late stage of the console generation now.

It's get better after 3-5 hours while you learn/get new abilities/things.

lol its final fantasy. it will ALWAYS get better when u get into it lol.. i have it and so far i like what i see.. even tough yeah alot has changed and it is different from other FF games.. bt aint that good?.. experiment on how the game is played.. so it aint the same each time..

I like the combat system, but I think I'll love it once your command bar gets HUGE.

very true, im bout 7 hours in now and got everything at my command now and its sweet.... kinda miss the whole traveling to towns thing to check **** out but oh well, games fn awesome

yeah i really like the battle system now ive got into it.. kinda mixes the best things out of other ff games.. the levelling up is kinda like the sphere grid from ffx, something similar to the gambit system from ff12, and upgrade your weapons like ff7:DoC.. all with its own styleoffighting... awesome game.

Its an awesome game but not really the best Final Fantasy, probably the 6th best Final Fantasy on my list.  Might be higher depending on how the game ends.

BUT NOTHING BEATS FF6!!! THAT IS THE BEST RPG EVER!

No final fantasy will top ff7. My homeboy works at gamestop and he said a whole bunch of people are returning the new final fantasy they said it was boring and trash.

i agree 7 is never gonna be beat no matter how hard they try, but i think why ppl dont like it or think its trash is cuz i will admit the beginnin takes some gettin into... but once u get passed all the crap going on and get to start usin more of the battle system and get to start leveling things up, the story falls into place and gets more fun, just gotta get into the game a lil

seph i agree with the video dat king got up n his pic of cloud now dats the beast in FF7...but yea man the gameplay n story mode in dat game can never b beatn n plus i think the only way they can improve it is making the game look better n dats it dont change nething else...yo seph do u remember the dude with the big a$$ gun Vence V now that guy had style any agrees huh? Huh?

By the way, nothing tops Final Fantasy 6.  If you have not played it you would not know.  I could not play 7 over and over because of the long **** in the game(Cloud's memories) that are so boring upon boring.

ff6 doesn't touch ff7 if it did u would have heard more about it which we haven't because its inferior.

yeah but aint ff7 the most successful ff in hostory? lol.. i think the best ff is ff7.. then ffx... story wise i think 7 has the edge but x has the better twist at the end. i havent played the older ff's though and ive only slightly got inot ff8.. i cant say much about it but alot of people said that 8 is one of the best.... so i would put those 3 as my top 3... ff13 aint one of the best but its still more than good enough for the wait to ff versus 13!
