Holy g****fruit, a whole new thread completly quoted from my latest reply from what I said 
in the wOa vs F u K thread? 

This is what happened:
Disco had complete map control in VCTF on Suspense with his sniper on the bridge.

Its what Carnage always does as well. People define it camping, You define it camping.
I define it defense.

Summarized: You are annoyed because you got owned by Disco's sniper in a game that latest max. 15 minutes.

LETS MOVE ON MON.

I dont consider aqua, pin, tw, deep_silense aka papa, chisox, seifer, or any players that fit in that catagory campers. they are just doing what the do for their team, defending. if that means standing still after they got everything they need then thats what you have to do to defend. the second you run off you leave your flag open and giving the other team a free shot at a quick score.
im sorry bro but this statement is ALL WRONG! Seifer is the biggest camper ive ever seen!!!

 If people get frustrated about someone standing across the map with hit scan then kill them before you make a flag run. If someone can't kill a camper, then what does that say about their skill? Not much lol....

I understand people hate slayers in VCTF rooms because all "we" do is kill rather than try to run flags. That is probably why you see a lot of defense.. However, there are ways to enjoy that mode still. Also, when I talk about a lot of defense, I am mainly talking about Necropolis and Suspense. Those two maps are TDM friendly.

Suspense? He does play like a douche on that map but I'm not bothered about it, I was refering more to the Necro match where they got 1-0 with a far stronger team and 4 of them spammed the flag with flak and shock combos.

Fact: Calling better players (Disco, Terror) campers because you cant handle twice as much bullets as normally will define you a bad player.
Fact: Making a thread asking the community what camping is will define you stupid. Because you do seem to know what camping is though?? You use the word.
Fact: You calling my team campers is a non rational based opinion based on getting annoyed over a 3y old dead game.

It was something like myself, King Eternal and Woolvie + 5 noobs v Associate, Daabomb, Matt, Bumrush, Penguin and maybe Terror on Suspense. It was a close game and didn't really care too much about it. Also there wasn't any team swapping, those were just how the teams fell so no problem there.
 
Fact: Whining about a stronger team = stop playing the game Correct -No problem, one less player from one of the most active clans on the game = one less clan to play matches.

You're right, by myself I cannot handle 4 'defenders', one of which is purposely doing it to piss people off. If he is one of the best attacking players on the game... then attack.

The thread was created to highlight that in VCTF defending in the flag and spamming it is camping. In my opinion the battle on these massive maps should be in midfield and not taking the easy option directly on the flag. Especially not on a map like Necro where pickups don't include the Fury or Raptor.

Incorrect - I have no idea who you are and whilst the game is dead, VCTF as a mode isn't. It's actually still quite popular and regulary has a full server that can be quite hard to join. Trainwreck and I throw tailgate parties while camping. Roasting them marshmallows has never been this fun.
 
On a more serious note, if I could run the flag, I would, but I suck at it. So I do my part by defending and chasing down the assholes who steal our flag. That's the position Skiller gave me on T-H-E and that's the way it stuck.

Campers?  What campers?  Oh, and my temporary solution for frequent snipers in Suspense is to run a Manta up top, leap down from above and crush them.. usually results with me missing them completely and/ or getting Avril'd or Flakked to death.

Im in the same boat as you Pin, but that aint camping. We kill players in the role we have on the team.
Its like this: Dragov cap a flag on suspense after 2 mins. I was on the same team, watching from above. After he scored he takes the goliath up past the flag house and roll it bck and forth between keg/flaghouse... THAT is camping. Other players do the same. ME! I got acused for camping inside the raptor! In their base!! Im dead after 1-2 avrils, so get to the f... avriltower then..
Its all about how we (the ones that know what to do) want the game to be! I left yesterday, on the same reason Danjel is writing about.

Camper=Any one who stops you from leaving their base with their flag.
Defender=When you stay in your base and defend your flag.
