Taught myself tbh, Played UT2004 from the age of 13 so UT3 was a easy transaction Was a iCTF Player on PC (Hence why I'm good with Hitscan Weapons) but played VCTF aswell so I learned Flag Running from watching the PC Comunnity I guess?

- RottenSc0undr3l (yes Joshy, if u read this you little smack) taught me aaalot. Especially improved me in dueling and improving my patience in duels. We had our differences, but he is one of the best at CTF without doubt and still respect him. - oSc_Man1ac taught me the best flagruns and also best camping/hideout spots with the flag :P Never heard him on mic but is a great guy and a very good player. - WeApOnIzEd also taught me alot in duel. Not to rush things, know where your enemy is and what weapon he is carrying and how much health he's got. He learned me some map control tips by dueling me and owning me OVER and OVER.
- Also my membz from NbK who have dueled me, owned me, toughend me and learned me to become the player i am today :)

valjohn.... for kicking my 4ss a few times, which, in turn, motivated me to improve my game.

no one really gave me advice on strategy etc. jook gave me a little advice when i first started on map control and rzablade helped me by letting me know my weaknesses but most of what i learned was by dueling certain players on a regular basis such as frag, rza, weapon, paw, q80, trendy, wildcard, tilter, and phant. i hated dueling against noobs or average players so most of my matches were against good duelers
playing 4-6 player ffa pugs with heavensknight and klown helped my aim and map control also most frustrating players i've dueled against are weaponized and phantaci. no one has ever given me advice on ctf because i didn't need any lol. pretty straight forward

Medic helped me with jumps on sandstorm and just watching Chris c helped me become a better flag runner overall. Also all the devil guys got me to start using the sniper and shock more. Changing to simple crosshairs helped my accuracy a bit as well.

I feel much older now from when playing UT in 2008, but I'll keep my list short of motivational players that influenced my play on xbox:
Konvict: probably the best player on any shooter on xbox, UC1 and so on, from 2001-2006 when he played and was a direct transfer from the UT PC community. Lowk: A early teammate of mine and I consider him the smartest, most talented and most underrated player to win it all at a large 1v1 MLG event. Stylistic: The best aim of any controller user, redefined what aim and movement meant for controller users. Shindeon: I believe he is known here, very well known in other games, but no doubt a rare talent on xbox. Lex: became a good friend and a fearless aggressive dueler - knew game mechanics better than anyone. Remy: the most talented dueler since Konvict and should be marked down as the best UT3 console player. I wanted to play Terry more from the few times we met, but knowing his talent made me want to compete harder in the event we'd finally play. I'm thinking back over 10 years now, and I just wonder where some of these guys went. Anyways, was good times. Satisfying to see a community still. If anyone wants to play in the future, I can be on 360 under Jookss. |

ptmmb-all the main ctf players; having less overall experience than 9/10 of the bomb footmode players, watching and learning, and correcting noob mistakes- is what made me better.

No one ever personally showed me anything in CTF. I made up everything and did it all by myself :3
But I watched players like Phantaci and Helscream play when the game first released and I wanted to be like them o:! Whenever I played instagib I watched Rage_Betagang play, and his flag running helped me a bit too. and then Bumrush started playing CTF and I had to make myself get better to keep up with him so I guess those 4 >:|
