Hahaha...since you were all banned from the Epic forum there is barely any PS3/Xbox360 community talk.  I've always found the console community more entertaining, though here at iAMgaming ;).

Wishful thinking ? Maybe but...Why is Flak all of a sudden actively supporting UT3 on the 360?  A few days ago she stickied a thread about a monthly game we're having AND she is supplying UT3 gifts to give away for people who participate...Now she's giving other UT3 stuff away to gamers.... 
 
They could just be getting rid of surplus stuff they have hanging around but I don't know ...it makes me think they could be ready to announce something!!Smile
 
Because Mark Rein shot off his mouth about the Unreal Engine 4. He basically said that when the PS4 and Xbox 720 arrive on the market UE4 won’t run on them either. Unreal Engine 3 is therefore going to be around for at least another 5-7 years, with version 4 of the engine looking likely to turn up in time to support PlayStation 5 and whatever Microsoft decide to call that generation of Xbox. That said, they are trying to reignite interest regarding UE3, especially since Crytek is about to launch their new engine which is competing with UE3.
Ah okay... well that means they'll make UT4 with the same UE3, in which case it may come out in a few years or less........ OR we're going to be waiting about 8 years at least Unhappy?!!
 
My money is on a few years or less!!!  The fact that they are still paying for official Epic servers on the PS3 and PC versions of UT3 says alot.  Gears 3 will be released this year so what else are they going to spend their time on?! lBig smile
Do you realize that in about forty years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tatoos and pierced navels? O.o

What else will Epic be spending their time on?  Ipad and mobile games, because people want to spend money on that rather than an arena shooter.  Trust me, you won't see another UT for a long, long time.  And if there is another UT, consider that Unreal very consolized, so say goodbye to your custom content, and be prepared to pay for DLC unless Epic makes the game by heart, which we all know they won't do.

That was a lame attempt at humor Mr. Nova Ermm...no doubt Epic has MANY projects they are working on.
 
From the perspective of a pc gamer, such as yourself, the "consolization" of Unreal is also, no doubt, a bad thing...from a console player's perspective, however, not so much.  As for having to pay for DLC,  it is something we are used to having to do already on the XBOX. 
 
If we're going to be perfectly honest, custom content has never been played by the majority of PS3 UT3 players for one reason or another, so ....anyway, I hope you are wrong about it being years before we see UT4.
