yeah I saw that. Not sure how or why you'd want to pre-order a downloadable game though? It's not like they're going to run out of any copies on release day lol. Maybe it's a steam thing or something and you'll get some kind of bonus for pre ordering?? 


Stating that "THQ Partners and Machinima join forces to Publish and Promote Nexuiz"  The article also says that it'll be released early in 2012 and will have a $9.99 sale price. xD

yeah phantaci and i talked about this but more than likely all you ps3 only players will have to wait cause xbox gets all the goods first 99% of the time, which means when it does come out on ps3 phantaci and i will have a bunch of game play under our belts. lol

lol a lot of people might be getting disappointed after playing this. Don't expect too much from a $10 game, i will be getting it to check it out but i'm not breaking my neck over it.

Lol if a free game called Quake Live / the original Nexuiz can get tournaments than there is hope.

Then i reckon it would indeed get recognized for tournaments.

well this game does have a tourny system and clan support so i dont see any reason as to why it wont have tournies.... plus machinima are promoting it so thats got to be a good thing.... and yeah its a dirt cheap game but they do promise alot of content.. plus any decent arena fps > most if not all other big time shooters lol

lol oh and peng i agree, i don't think its going MLG lol... but it could still very well get iAM tournies. and illfonic said they would host their own, so it'll be fun. atleast they'll show more love than what QAA and UT3 got from its devs/publishers.

You guys do realize there is an earlier version of this game that came out years ago on pc right?  I'll definitely play it on pc but in regards to console I am not sure how the movement will go.  If you guys cannot strafe jump in quake live, then you had better start practicing it and quickly learn about bunny jumping and strafe jumping mixed together.  The game will require skill I can promise you that.
