Final Fantasy VIII was my first FF, and a first bigger RPG I've played. Maybe for that reason, it's best for me. But somehow I like to think it's because of Junction system. It's AWESOME!

I didn't even know there was a demo... must get me that.
Yeah 10 had a quality story, part of what hooked me but it was also the first relatively "linear" FF, the rest were all over the place and although I had 300+ hours of play on 10 to do all the side quests and extras it was nothing compared with 7, 8, or 9... I mean that card trading game in 8 took up so many hours of my time  |

ive got ff13 demo, with acc ofc. and demo is awsome. cant wait till full version, but i think i must wait until 2010.

I thought they were going to do that but all the did was remake the opening sequence :( looked pretty damn good though. I've got pretty much all the FF series (UK versions), except 11 - I won't stoop that low. My favs: 8, 7, 10 & 9 in that order. 13 will be spectacular but I don't think I can wait that long so I'm also looking out for White Knight Chronicles which will hopefully be out beforehand. Mmmm mul-ti-play-er :D. I hate waiting for games to come out...  |

lol nah i lie FF8 :), and i srta liked x-2, but not alot since some things ruined it, and it didnt live up 2 FFX at al!! lol, and the garment grid thing was dumb O_O

Final Fantasy 7, 9, 10 and 12. I disagree what Kali said about Final Fantasy 11 is better than GTA San Andreas. GTA San Andreas by far the best PS2 game.

Final Fantasy 11 is the greatest game of all time. FF11 > GTA san andreas, Super mario bros. series, all other FF games, all mana games, all dragonquest games, all unreal games, all quakes, and half life 2  |

oh my thats one damn good list i have all the mana games except seiken densetsu 3 i had to get chrono trigger the actual cartridge also plus that also bring up i have chrono cross who doesnt like earthbound be serious haha nvr tried shadowrun though i have heard good things about it breath of fire good game shiningforce and of course the most famous on that list besides FF... Phantasy Star i have to agree with you 200% on this that list dominates any rpg made in the last 10 years |

i agree with most of this i didnt like 7 but the rest of this is the damn truth snes days were beyond epic the rpgs made back then were so amazing thats why i liked games like Lunar Silver Star Story Complete
