It's time for daddy to buy a middle age crisis sports car and give her the protege, she doesn't need her first car to be a 1967 mustang, I wrecked it several times when I was 16. She's already a speed freak, I can't scare her no matter how fast I go in any car. Plus it only gets like 12 miles to the gallon. I get 30 in the mazda around town.
Wow, you make me feel young Ace, even more so because of the fact i tried prank calling you the other night with a Arnold soundboard! ;)

I've had my share of V-dubs myself. My favority was my 92 GTi. It was the 2liter 16v motor. I put a 16v head from a 1.8 on it and changed the cams. I also took the final drive out of an A1 GTi trans and put it in the A2 trans. That car was a blast.

I myself and a Euro car fan. Porsche all the way.
They all have their advantages/disadvantages. Most automakers are in each others pockets now anyway.
Mitsubishi and Mercedes are owned by Chrysler.
Volvo is owned by Ford.
Saab is owned by General Motors.
GM has interest in Toyota.
Ford has interest in Mazda.

The Volvo S-series cars share the same underpinnings as the Taurus/Freestyle.
The Mazda Navajo is a re-badged Ford Explorer.
The Saab 92-x is a rebadged WRX.
Pontiac vibe is a re-badged Matrix.
Honda Pilot was a re-badged Isuzu.
The 2004-2007 Saturn Vue used a Honda V6.
It goes on and on. . .
