Yeah didn't see a thread on it in this section so adding it now, yeah i'm a huge WWE/Wrestling fan, been following it for 9 and half years now, got whole ton of WWE dvds/videos over 150 i would say some very rare to.
Anyway i for one will be getting SVR10, the last 2 SVR have been nothing but a let down overall imo, 08 was poor and 09 wasnt alot better, only Road to Wrestlemania mode was good in the game imo. But this year game looks awesome i must admit and i for one am proper buzzing over getting it.
Information (Taken from Wikipedia btw)
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will feature a new and improved create mode. In addition to the original create-a-wrestler and create-an-entrance modes, the game will introduce the WWE Story Designer mode, an extension to the General Manager mode. The player will now be able to design the script to one of the weekly shows (Raw, SmackDown, or ECW) with storylines, scenarios, and matches of their creations using a variety of preset options. Included in the designing options for scenarios are the words the superstars speak from the player's created script, the text that appears as the subtitles, and the actions the superstar performs; however, there is a limit to the number of characters that can appear in a scenario. Similar to previous editions in the series, the player can create storylines; however, the player can now control how long the storylines goes on, how many superstars or divas are involved, and what takes place in the storylines. The match-making feature allows the player to set a match type, set a stipulation, and set any winning conditions. In addition to using created superstars, the player may also integrate actual WWE superstars and Divas into their created storylines, scenarios, or matches. The create-a-wrestler feature has also been improved from WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. The game will now feature three-dimensional apparel, unlike in previous games where it appeared as "painted on". The apparel will also move realistically, for example, a robe will move with each of the superstar's movements. Another improvement to the create-a-wrestler mode is the loading time of the menus, which in the past presented lengthy waiting time for each menu to appear; however, developers at Yuke's have improved the loading time of each menu. The layer system for the create-a-wrestler mode has been replace with a point system. In this system, each item is given a point value and the player is able to attach up to 48 points of items. The mode will also feature an additional Paint Tool in which the player can create their own design that they can use as to use as a logo or a tattoo for their created wrestler. In addition to create-a-wrestler, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 versions of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will introduce a new mode called Superstar Threads, in which the player can create three alternate attires for existing wrestlers in the game by customizing the colors of their attire. THQ also confirmed that the create-a-finisher option has also been improved, with the addition of 30 percent more content. Introduced in the previous game, the player was able to create a finisher in the front grapple position. In WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, the mode has been expanded to include aerial techniques. The player will also be able to adjust the jumping trajectory and speed of the maneuver.
Along with these new customization features, players for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be able to share their created wrestlers, moves and shows online with other players. The player can also rate other creations online in terms of quality. Evolving from the previous year's Highlight Reel mode, a compilation of the match's highlights will be listed after each match. The player can subsequently choose to watch or save any of these highlights. Match gameplayWWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will feature improved match gameplay. A new feature that has been added is the THQ Training Facility, a tutorial option for players who may be unaware of the gameplay of the series. The player will be able to choose a superstar, their non-player charcater opponent (or they may choose to play with another player), the match type, and the game or match settings. During the match, various pop-ups will appear with different instructions on how to perform actions, such as the grapples or maneuvers available to be performed. There are over 100 training tips available to the player. New moves in the game include moves involving superstars standing on the ring's apron. For the first time since WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007, the game will feature four strong grapples, with players now also able to switch between each grapples. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will feature a revamped HUD, cutting down on the on-screen information seen in the previous year. The momentum meter will now appear as a small halo underneath each superstar, while HUD icons and information relevant to the match will be displayed around the superstar. On-screen body damage meters are now replaced by visual cues from superstars indicating where they are damaged. The game will also adopt the "pinfall kickout mechanism" used in the THQ video game WWE Legens of Wrestlemania, in which the player can either hold a face button or button mash to fill up a meter for kicking out of a pinfall attempt. A new reversal system will replace the old two-button system from previous games. The new single-button reversal system will based around timing, with the player given only one chance to press the reversal key when the icon appears. Game modesThe Road to WrestleMania mode returns from WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 with six new stories based on various WWE wrestlers. Unlike the previous year, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will feature a Diva-based story involving Mickie James and a story specifically for the player's created wrestler. This year's Road to WrestleMania mode will also include storylines that branch out through interactive cutscenes. DevelopmentThe game's development was officially announced at E3 on June 1, 2009 by WWE, Yuke's, and THQ. The game was mainly promoted under the tagline "It's Your World Now", referring to the new customization features available to the player that the game will have. The first video of gameplay footage was revealed on the August 11 edition of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon during an interview with wrestler Triple H, showing a match between Triple H and a created Jimmy Fallon. A trailer announcing and promoting the game's new customization features was released on August 20 at GameSpot. This was a change from the previous years of the WWE SmackDown series in which features were announced earlier in a month like April. According to the game's senior creative manager, Cory Ledesma, the reasoning for this was to build up anticipation and excitement in a shorter period with more information about the game. A playable demo for the game was first released to the public at WWE's Summerslam Axxess fan Convention on August 22 and August 23. Originally, the game was announced in June 2009 to have an American release date of November 10, 2009. However, the release date was subsequently moved forward to October 20, 2009. The game will feature songs from Adeltias Way, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sick Puppies, Skillit and Trivium as licensed songs for the game's soundtrack. WiiThe Wii version of the game has also been improved, primarily the motion gameplay and control scheme having been improved similar to that of the PS3 and XBox-360 versions. With these improvements, the player will have more control options, including the use of the GameCube Controller, Wii Remote and the Wii Cla**ic Controller. It was confirmed by the game's producers that the Wii version will feature many of the features found on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, in this way the Wii version could be comparable to the other versions. While the Wii version will feature the create-a-finisher mode for the first time, it will not feature online support like the previous year's edition. Nintendo DSTOSE, the developers of the Nintendo DS version of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, will be developing the Nintendo DS version of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010. THQ confirmed that they were seeking an improvement to the Nintendo DS versions of the WWE SmackDown series, and that WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 would feature that improvement. Unlike past games, the DS version of this game will feature an increase in speed. The gameplay will now be seen from an elevated camera, in addition, the maneuvers will now also be controlled by using the device's buttons instead of touch screen. A new feature to the DS version will be a collectible card system. The player will be able to collect cards that feature power-ups that may be activated in the ring—such as calling in a wrestler to interfere in the match—or that feature unlockables—such as create-a-wrestler parts, match types, etc. The DS version will also feature an improved story mode in which the player will participate in various storylines. Along the way, the player will have to compete in matches, in addition to being able to improve a created wrestler's statistics, nursing the wounds suffered by the player's wrestler, or visiting WWE Chairman Vince McMahon office. The DS version will also include for the first time an Ambulance Matchand Backstage Brawls with 14 different backstage areas. You prob read it all before so no news to you but there just in case you didn't know, i try to update this thread with photos if i can or link to the website with the photo's to anyone who wants to see them. yeah the online game play still lags a bit but its cool there trying to get it right. i like how they put create a finisher (high flying move) on this new one, still they need to put it were you can create a submission, back, ground at the legs, ground at the head etc. it would be some much cooler although the new high flying finisher is an awesome feature as well

I love this game tbh, the CaS and downloaded storylines have me addicted to the game, may only concern is it crashes sometimes when ya try download something, and there cant be any curse words or words which have a curse word in them like a**igned for example not allowed due to a** being in the word/sentence so ya have to redo it, which is rather annyoing.
The RtW storys have been decent at best imo, could be better but not to bad, Still a very fun game however though.
