How long has everyong been playing ut3? Personally i got ut3 for myself for a birthday present February of 2008 that makes it one year and seven months i've been playing....
i played almost every night with my first three psn friends, ipwnxhardcore, shadowTEX and nerothecrimson
...lol good times!

Let's see, I started on July 12th, 2008 on the Xbox 360. Then on December 25th, 2008, I got my first PS3. Then a day later or somewhere around there I went out to buy UT3, so me and my bro could play together. But I was always rarely on and started to play KZ2, then I sought KZ2 was getting boring and went back to UT3. I did play COD 5, December 25th - June 20th I think. |

Honestly, I've had the game April or May 2008 (I can't recall), but I was never around longer two to three weeks, up until joining RTO and this site, late December/ early January. (also can't exactly remember) I was usually a random DM pub noob/ 3rd to 4th placer (usually, though I sometimes won). I generally would only play DM, but after awhile, I'd get bored and go play another game. However, after a faithful a**-kicking in one of my first duels, D-Mafia or somebody recommended me to (join) RTO and I took that advice.
Not too long after joining, I was lead to this site/ asked to join by my clan leader at the time (Punisher). Honestly, had I'd never been recommended to RTO, I'd probably be playing other games right now and probably would traded in UT3 when I finally traded in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. (I felt that I had beat it enough times. (four)) |

By chance, I got this game the first day it came out. I went to GameStop and traded in the crappy games I had bought during summer and this game caught my eye. I had never played any UT before but the concept and graphics looked cool so I gave it a shot. I remember playing it for the first time and was like 'Man this game sux'. Luckily my neighbor had his wifi on and I decided to see if I could figure out how to play the game on line. the rest is history. UT3 first and best on-line game I've played.

I've played since the initial Xbox 360 release, July 7th 2008 (actually the 8th because it shipped to Gamestop on the 7th). I had been looking for an alternative to Halo 3 to play with my brother and had been searching for a Quake or Unreal-esque game. My brother informed me that UT3 was slated to come out in a few weeks so we picked it up, primarily interested in the VCTF. We were looking for a game mode that was faster paced than Halo but retained the employ of vehicles so we could swoop in ("Ride of the Valkyries") and rain down vehicular slaughter. CTF ended up being better IMO (I've always been a fan of vanilla CTF in games/RL) and I turned my efforts on it instead of VCTF.

I started playin this game the day it was released...I went to Walmart too early & had to wait for some nerd to go find me a copy in the back of the store cuz they didnt have it on the shelves yet.
