Ylod question

I got ylod.  So theres a place in town that does ylod fixes for 50 and 79.  The 50 dollar one is the reflow option and the latter is the psu replacement option, which should i get and for the ylod victims that have had this my ut3 game is in there and i can't get it out.  To make matters worse they charge 50 for fixing the blu ray drive.  So, ylod victims, my game doesn't eject cause it shuts off immediately cause of the ylod, so is this normal or do i have to pay an additional 50 for them to fix it.  I would have asked them, but they charge 30 just to have an a**esment with it, yep, peace.  Oh and i need a response asap i want to send this in tomorrow, i mean today.

no ylod wont eject your game. your pretty much at a loss with that game unless you some how remove the disc by force or get the unit fixed. i had to toss both my ps3 and the ut3 copy that was in at the time. the same thing happened to me, wouldnt eject the game in time, would just turn back off after the yellow light. i just baught a new slim unit then paying the $200 it would of cost me..

No, actually i got ylod once, cleaned it, thought i fixed it, and a week or two later, i got it again, this time when i went to turn on the ps3.  I thought it was good when i cleaned it cause my fan noise was so low.  I actually thought i improved it, yep.

turn ur ps3 off from the back, hold down eject, now while your finger
is still on eject, turn your ps3 back on from the back. That is called a force eject.
If that dont work, then yes, your f.u.k.e.d.

should i see what i can do two fix or take it some where cause im not gonna wait for this s*** two go out than do it .

k, but didn't ur ****ty ps3 break down like 3 times after u reflowed it?

imo, sony is dumb. Ylod has nothing to do with overheating and is a
hardware failure issue. Ex. Some dude who only used his ps3 once a week
got ylod and sony needed the 150$ charge, F.U.K that! They should fix em 4 free.
Then again, im just pissed it happened to me. Lol

Mine broke (YLOD) and I sent it to a repair company (but its UK so no good for you) and it's fully working again. UT was stuck in there for me also but since they fixed it the disc came straight out, no problems or anything.
