Before the rapper Ludachris, or however you spell his friggin' name, there was the H/C band Ludichrist. Have this on vinyl too.

Metallica and Megadeth had completely different sounds. Yeah, I know the Mustaine/Metallica backstory, it doesn't matter. Other than sharing the music for a couple of songs, I don't think they sounded much like each other.
BTW, Metallica hasn't produced anything compelling since Justice. Even that was in danger of jumping the shark, as it was waaay over-produced and the songs were waayyy too long. Every song was like watching Dances With Wolves. They're all 3 freakin hours long.

Yeah Whiskey in the Jar is on the Garage Inc CD. Good song.
Now you're talking... Pantera kick a**. Trendkill was a quality album but Walk is probably my overall Pantera favourite... I grew up getting whiplash to that song |

Hands down one of the best Metallica songs
Blackened
Blackened is the end
Winter it will send Throwing all you see Into obscurity Death of mother earth Never a rebirth Evolutions end Never will it mend Never Fire To begin whipping dance of the dead Blackened is the end To begin whipping dance of the dead Color our world blackened Blistering of earth Terminate its worth Deadly nicotine Kills what might have been Callous frigid chill Nothing left to kill Never seen before Breathing nevermore Never Fire To begin whipping dance of the dead Blackened is the end To begin whipping dance of the dead Color our world blackened Blackened Opposition...contradiction...premonition ...compromise Agitation...violation...mutilation...pla net dies Darkest color Blistered earth True death of life Termination....expiration...cancellation ...human race Expectation...liberation...population... lay to waste See our mother Put to death See our mother die Smouldering decay Take her breath away Millions of our years In minutes disappears Darkening in vain Decadence remains All is said and done Never is the sun Never Fire To begin whipping dance of the dead Blackened is the end To begin whipping dance of the dead Fire Is the outcome of hypocrisy Darkest potency In the exit of humanity Color our world blackened Blackened |

Yeah I prefer old school metallica compared to the newest 2 albums.
Tool are pretty good :) can't say I've heard much sublime though. What about megadeth vs metallica? lol let the arguments begin :D |

Nice can't beat a bit of thin lizzy. They're up there with the old school legends like sabbath, deep purple and Zeppelin.

I know Ive said b4 that Black Sabbath are from my home town but I luv Lizzy best - they were so versatile, sweet Irish melodies and the smooth licks from the guitars. The cowboy song (live) here starts of a little slow but be patient.
