The demo just hit PSN and XBL and If you're a fan of hack n slash, you should definately check this game out.
I imported it about a month ago and I can tell you, it's by far the best hack n slash game ever made. It's everything DMC should have been and more. It makes GoW, DMC, and Onimusha look like complete bull****. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdQAHbS9c44 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcmldIRZq3I I'm actually thinking about making a video soon... |

bayonetta owns!!! the torture combo is sick and so are the all the other moves! imo the camera angle takes a while to get used to but its defo worth mastering because this game is the best hack n slash game i have ever played! completely smashed all Dmc n gow games that have so far been released!

You don't need a new game, ut3 is still amazing. I heard it sold 400,000 copies last night.

Don't think so, besides that'd only put limitations on the PC version - hence ut3 never did that.

i don't know, they did it for shadowrun and it worked out pretty well.
i am pretty sure that the mmo final fantasy 11 was cross platform also. |

They'd have to slow down updates for PC version, they might not be able to handle as many players as they could with PC only, and there might be balancing issues.
Also from what I heard it's free to play, with costs added for member-exclusive stuff. |

EWWWW microtransactions? gaming as we know it is seriously on its last leg.
anyhow as far as bayonetta.. think you guys are over hyping the game.. the demo was great and it plays awesome should be a better version of DMC.. but really i dont think its better then GoW.. i liked being able to pick up other weapons but i doubt the game will have weapon upgrades similiar to gow and boss battles / puzzles that rival gow

I guess if you really want puzzle/rpg elements, then gow or castlevania would be your best bet.
But if you're looking for a game that actually takes skill and challenges your reflexes, memorization, creativity, and intellect, I would get dmc, since that's what dmc is known/loved for; and bayonetta is like dmc on crack. It's definately one of the best games i've played in the past few years, and I would highly recommend it. Even if you're just looking for any type of game that takes skill, (since there's so few of them out there) I would recommend it. btw, i dont know if you've seen the trailer for the next castlevania ... it looks fricken sweet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y8F0dQM1DI and if you never played Lament of Innocence or Curse of Darkness, I would recommend those too, despite what the reviews say. |

Honestly until GoW3 comes out, DMC4 is still the most ridiculous game out there. Bayonetta is a bit too flashy, and with the protaginist mysteriously losing her clothing everytime she performs a special move makes me think it got a good rating mainly because you got some nerd jizzing in his pants everytime he plays the damn game.
And honestly, can you beat something as badass looking as this? http://www.capcom.co.jp/devil4/images/character/cg_dante_dt.jpg |

It's a great game. Just too short. I beat it in a few days on hard.
I like the upgrade aspect though.
