JFF would like to rent a UK server but when i try and look for one it doesn't mention renting servers for the ps3. Does anyone know where to get some cheap uk servers for the ps3? and could explain what it is we should add to the server to make a decent one. Such as how many slots would b ideal.. and so on.

Midnight Gaming has no UK servers. Closest would be NY city. Heavenly_Trinity has had alot of experience with UK servers. You should check with him.

the XP servers are in switserland, gunjacrew got those from swissquake.ch i think, not sure where you make the site english again

I have just bought a clanwarz server. How do i change the gametype and edit the settings? I assume you do it via the command line? please send me what to type to get a team deathmatch going... Thanks :)

not sure about Clanwarz but on my MG server I use a control panel to set up the different modes, etc.

You need to change the command line. The name of the server will stay the same, unless you get a new gamespy account by filling out a new support ticket asking for a new name. They will do it for you. In order to change the gametype you have to change the command line. Go to edit, and it will give you a bunch of options to change, you can also create a new commandline and name it something else for your different gametype orjust keep editing the same one. You can check the forums for ps3 ut3 on clanwarz.com and it lists all the proper names for gametypes, maps, mutators and everything else on how to customize your server.

Thanx we had to get them to do it for us in the end but now its been set up we should be able to change game types ect. your explanation is better than there's and make more sense thanx for the help.
