Traffic is definitely one of my top films. Benicio del Toro's character is amongst the best I have ever seen.

First two JP films are great but the third one imo wasn't as good.  Wasn't there supposed to be a fourth JP film coming out?

Just a quick reminder: I never intended this discussion to be solely about your "top 5 favorite movies". Feel free to discuss any & all movies.

Anyways, a few other films that I enjoy:

The Fourth Kind
The Last of the Mohicans
Meet the Parents
Cloverfield (a helluva workout for any discriminating sound system)
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Taken
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas
The Departed

Hey Rivers, is the fourth kind a thriller or more of a suspense?

It's more like a documentary/film to be honest with you.

Basically & interestingly enough, you see what certain individuals experienced on one side of the screen, while actors portray it on the other side of the screen. But believe me - these actors (including Mila Jovivich) knew exactly what they were doing.

The film itself is pretty unique in the way it was filmed, Ppareja76.

1. Satyricon by Federico Fellini
2. Apocalypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola
3. Inglorious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino
4. Blue Velvet by David Lynch
5. Legend By Ridley Scott

The directors cut of Legend (one of the most beautiful movies) is way better than the theatrical version. just like the directors cut of Blade Runner is better than the theatrical version. Ridley Scott's movies are always good.

Inglorious Basterds is a damn good film, so is District 9 but both are too recent to make it into my top favourite films... Once I've watched them a few times and want to keep watching them, then I'll put them in my top list Wink  Legend is also good but it's been aaages since I saw that film.
