Btw I'll state the obv and say Strider is right and if the tallies are equal and China have more Golds and Silvers than USA then they will finish above them (in first most probs). Prefer to see US over China tho...rooting for Jamaica 1,2,3 in the 100m sprint and desperate for GB to up their game and win more medals! C'mon the lads and lasses!

I was in Germany for the weekend. It was kind of funny how their commentators only ever talk about the German players with massive bias, and then try to justify not having a single medal for days. On the way home today I heard on German radio (after they took their first gold) 'Deutschland! Olympia sieger!' which I also found amusing.

The dutch production quality is bad.

Personally I've found it harder to get into the Olympics since there isn't the "evil" superpower to root against like it used to be back in the days vs. the Soviet Union.  Sure, it still gives something to root for to be the best overall but I don't feel that same "team unity" that used to sweep the country.

Duuude, I know -_- it's so very annoying, it's ONLY about german medals in our media, not about nice and entertaining games, no no. Non-stop talking about our medals (or better say those we didn't have then)
