Piers morgan is a douche but holy sh!t Alex Jones came across like a bigger douche. It's not hard to pick apart the anti's arguments but Jones just looked like a total putz the whole time. Very counterproductive!

Just a little heads up to educate some of you on automatic rifles and their NFA friends:

Automatic weapons, suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns or AOW's are all NFA items and regulated by the ATF. They are a major PITA to acquire since the ATF makes you jump through numerous hoops.

Taken from Wikipedia:

"All NFA items must be registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Private owners wishing to purchase an NFA item must obtain approval from the ATF, obtain a signature from the Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) who is the county sheriff or city or town chief of police (not necessarily permission), pass an extensive background check to include submitting a photograph and fingerprints, fully register the firearm, receive ATF written permission before moving the firearm across state lines, and pay a tax. The request to transfer ownership of an NFA item is made on an ATF Form 4.^[14] Many times law enforcement officers will not sign the NFA documents. There have been several unfavorable lawsuits where plaintiffs have been denied NFA approval for a transfer."

These highly regulated firearms are not the guns that are being used in high-profile shootings that the media loves to cover/twist in order to demonize responsible, law-abiding gun owners. What is being used are semi-automatic AR-15's (CO and CT) and handguns with really big magazines. Banning either of these won't do a damn thing, either. Sorry to burst your bubble Feinstein.

Ever hunted water foul? Need multiple shots. And who says it only takes one shot to defend yourself? What if you miss? Or more than one criminal pointing a gun at you? Be pretty f***ed with that single shot pistol you thought you'd be fine with huh? Full autos should be military only I agree. But semi autos should be ok for us.

the "need" for a fully automatic gun occured right around the corner from you a few years back. it was called the LA riots. store owners needed the firepower to defend their lives and property from large groups of criminals. they've also had riots in other cities over the years.

@Deadaim - it appears you have selective vision -  you see what you want ot see but thats OK because your accusations have little foundation. You might have thought that I have belittled your post but was my intention was to point out its obvious weaknesses because it made my case stronger. This is legit when debating an issue (well in this part of the world it is). People can see your post for what it is so I need not comment, its new years morning so I dont wish to start off on an argument.
