Assassins Creed = BS

I'm playing the first game out of this series and I'm near the end fighting off the Templars about to kill Rober or whatever the F it is. I don't know if this game does this on purpose but its almost IMPOSSIBLE to effin kill the Templars!!

My counterattacks all of a sudden do NOTHING but punch the guys.. they no longer kill them in one swipe like the usual counterattacks, but not only that.. when I punch them they usually fall to the ground this is where I get my free shots at killing them.. it used to take maybe 1 or 2 hits with my sword to kill them on the ground but no.. now it takes 3 or 4 or effin 5!! If I can even make it to that many with everyone stabbing me from behind.. since when does it take 3 or 5 stabs with my sword to kill them.. is it because I'm near the end and everything that I was taught goes out the window?

Not only that, but my sword blocks all of sudden stop working.. I can block maybe one guy by holding down R1 or R2.. whatever one it is but as soon as he takes another go at me.. he hits me.. I have him highlighted and everything! I have played this game and none of this has ever been a problem!! I've been doing the counterattacks and blocking before with NO issues but now near the end.. it doesn't work. This is so EFFIN FRUSTRATING, how am I expected to beat all these guys when none of my action works and all my counterattacks do nothing!!

yeah JP to be honest i thought the first one was crap.. boring and repetetive and i never thought about buying the 2nd one but then i borrowed it and it was amazing.,. and brotherhood is just as good.. but its a shame the 1st one reaaallllyy sucked... but ya what i done is just gave up on the 1st one and read up on it instead xD.... was too repetetive to want to complete.... but the 2nd one was much better so stick with it :)

well i do see ur point.. the gameplay was good in the first one... but apart form the fighting and climbing etc etc.. there wasnt much to it... the things what u had to do wasnt fun and there just wasnt much content in the game... all it was for most of the game is eavsdrop on someone.. steal some info off of someone else.. the do the assassination.. then do the same thing over and over... ac2 and brotherhood has alot more content and much more to do.. from all the hype that surrounded the first AC it really was a dissapointment to me.. and u mean brothewrhood is even better than ac2 xD... well tbh i think ac2 was a little better in the story mode department... but AC brotherhood had multiplayer which made it an overall better game.. but yeah your right... AC2 and brotherhood were much better than AC1.. cant wait for the next one!

AcRevelation's will be pure EPIC, it actually pains me that I have to wait 4 month's for it.

yeah but thats just  3d animations thats not gameplay let me see some game play and then we'll see if its good or not

Black Ops fails, Assassins Creed FTW

Its only after youve played AC2 that u realise some of the failures of AC1 imo (apart from repetitive gameplay - do mission/get reward - very linear. It was fun and a visual treat. The series overall is better than SplinterCell or Metal Gear Solid for me and ACB is the best of all - but AC2 I njoyed more cos I completed it rather than stopping/starting in ACB.
