has anyone seen the new comcast service level xfinity? i just went ahead and upgraded they are installing it on the 2nd of next month.. but its suppose to have 3 times the HD channels, phone service, and most importantly.. 100 mb internet.. i was all set to switch to fios as soon as it became availble but this sounds even better...
if anyone has this in there area and has tried out the internet let me know how it is

yea 200 a month its only something like 20 mb not 100 mb.. i guess the 100 isnt even availble in my area yet and i think its something around 200 a month on its own. the extreme tier is 140 a month alone and its only 50 mb |

I have the RoadRunner Lightning at 40Mb. I only get the full 40mb when I am on the RoadRunner network (essentially between my house and their main node), which is not where I surf. Outside their network I get a steady 20+Mb.
Lunchy, most equipment sold these days can handle 1Gb up and down. For the last couple of years the built in lan ports on most quality PCs have been Gb ports. Just make sure your routers and switches are matched and you'll get all of it.

I was interested most in Atlanta. Any traffic I send through there is dumbed down to the point I should just hand deliver my messages. Something is up with the SE Node of the backbone. Nothing anyone can do about it except complain.
