just downloaded it...heres some of the stuff:
Photo Gallery:A new network based photo sharing feature is now available on the Photo Gallery. The enhancement allows PS3 users to upload, browse and comment on photos on sites such as Facebook and Picasa Web Album. PS3 users can also opt to share their photos between their PlayStation Network friends.

Video Editor & Uploader:Video Editor and Uploader is a new function found on the XrossMediaBar (XMB), which enables users to edit, save and upload video files stored on the PS3 system to sites such as Facebook or YouTube.

Five Star Rating Support:Users can rate PlayStation Store content they have purchased with one to five star ratings.

pretty happy bout the vid editor...gonna go test it

When I saw that video editor info, I got real excited thinking you could record gameplay directly to the ps3, but sadly, that is not the case

Yeah I got this piece of cr@p last night.  I spent 15 mins downloading and installing the update.  Went to try out the video editor thingy only to find that you have to download more software :O  so what was the initial update all about?  What a waste of my time :@  Sony suck but they're better than MicroFlacidC0ck.

I didn't waiting a "video editor". I want a chat room in game (similar as TeamSpeak) and most news for gamers... *** itt. Playstation 3 isn't a pc.

  • PlayStation Plus: PlayStation Network users will be able to purchase membership to PlayStation Plus; a new subscription service on the PlayStation Network that provides you with new options to expand and enhance your gaming experience and enable you to gain an exclusive set of features and content. Friendly reminder, all of you PlayStation Network users will continue to have free access to PlayStation Network’s unmatched and expanding suite of new and exclusive features while PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain access to an exclusive and expanding set of gaming features, content and functionality.

I tried the video editor thing, but apparently, I can't get the stuff off of my DVD disk thing.  The two main reasons I can't make videos or montages is because I have no video editing program and because my computer can't read DVD-RWs or whatever the disks I got are called.  Luckily, I have a relative with another, much newer one, minus the video editing thing.

Ha, I just got the stuff off of the DVD I had and it worked.  If I ever find the time, I might finally make a noob's version of a montage, though I think I'll start with Most Wanted stuff first.  My youtube channel might finally get some videos that are actually mine and not simply a favorite.
