i agree with them aswell.. i absolutly loved it.. i would buy a ps3 again just fr that game.. but since its out for ps3 along with ico (whihc i havent played and look forward to) ill just wait for that xD... i do think final fantasy x would be a close call to being the top ps2 game aswell

Never played that game but kinda want to now! Its a matter of opinion i guess, best ground breaking game, GT3.... my fav game and personal opinion on best game, Final Fantasy X.

yeah u should get SOTC if u stil have a ps2.. if not make sure u get it when it comes out on ps3... was a stunning game... ive been wanting to play that again for a while now but i aint got a ps2 anymore -_-... but it is a unique game |

shadow is one of those games i play very rarely cause i enjoy it so much. i don't want it to lose it's luster when i play.

I bought Shadow of the Colossus earlier this year, played it for an hour or so and then put it aside to play some other time and haven't gotten back to it since. And now that it's getting a facelift along with Ico for PS3, I'm just going to wait for that. My favorite PS2 game would easily be Persona 4. |

If you havent played it all the way through then just wait for the HD version on PS3 coz that will be mind boggling. I'm gonna get the platinum trophy on it. I'm guessing the hardest trophy's will be the time trials, completing it on the hardest setting and finding the secret garden with the immortal fruit but it shall be done ;)

so are they coming up with a download version of the ps2 to the ps3 or coming out with a part 2 of the game? i agree with seph(not matt lol jk), i want to try it out ca it looks interesting to me(

nah they are not comming out wiht a downloadable version.. i think they are just releasing both ico and shadow of the colossus as a bundle pack on ps3 blu-ray discs.. i would never want a part 2 to be made so theres no risk of ruining what is a perfect game lol. wel thats shadow im talking about... i dont know about ico since i havent played it but ive heard its great too

SOTC was a unique and an amazing game to play. I never played a game besides this, which has boss fights only. The boss fights were long, epic, and fun, the only game to ever accomplish that. Congrats to Shadow of The Colossus for winning IGN's best PS2 game.

Hold up! Shadow of the Colossus won "Best PS2 Game of All Time?" Lets go back in time. Shadow of the Colossus came out the same year as God of War: 2005. God of War won "Game of the Year" in 2005. And top of that, IGN scored God of War (9.8) higher than Shadow of the Colossus (9.7) and yet calling Shadow of the Colossus the "Best PS2 Game of All Time!?" One word.....hypocrite. |

lol that is a bit funny. how they rated GoW higher yet tey give SOTC the best ps2 game of all time award... but still.. even with that.... i do agree on what they said in that vid... SOTC is the best ps2 game xD

in the newest game informer they rated the top 30 video game characters of the past decade...it was pretty dissappointing.
