A torque band with low end torque will get you off the line quicker delivering more power earlier, high end torque is the opposite and gets you to a top speed quicker. If your really interested in those aspects of a car I suggest you take it to a Dyno, atleast there you will see what your car is putting to the street.

Easier terms... High end tq = better top speed (faster cars).... Low end tq = Better acceleration for drag racing or such things like coming off a corner (quicker cars)

Thank you guys, because articles I read, didn't give me the simplest answer which you guys did. Thanks again.
I asked because I'm interested in the Honda S2000 which if memory serves, supposedly doesn't have much low-end torque.

An s2000 is a brilliant car, shame it was never resurrected, it was a track car off the dealership, you dont really need to do anything to that car.

Honda i think.... Street or cruiser?    Street bikes -  Honda or Suzuki gsx-r, Cruiser - Yamaha V-star and of course the harley
