Changed channel on the router to see if the problems would go away with the base station of the PX5 headset interfering with the network. No go. The room I set up for a game room wasn't hardwired for networking.
Dropped the max signal for the router to 54Mb and set the channel to auto. This step was because "N" level 2.4MHz (up to 130Mb) actually "sits" on or reserves all of the bandwidth and channels. No go. Went in the attic and ran Cat 5 down to the room and connected everything to a Gb switch. Problem solved. Restored router to max 130Mb on 2.4MHz and 300Mb on 5Mhz. I think the only bad mark I would give the PX5 is that there is no way to manually set the channel. Other than that, it's incredible.

If i have it one B4 turning on my 360, it wont go online, took me like an hour figuring it out. not much of a problem, just annoying as sh1t. lol

Yeah. That's a serious flaw in an otherwise excellent product. I suspect that people who are unable to hardwire their consoles will end up returning the PX5.
I'm thinking the bandwidth required to send true 5.1 surround or emulated 7.1 surround is probably the cause. It requires quite a bit of power to send 5 channels of audio through the air. TurtleBeach should have opted for the 300Mb, 5MHz option. I bet we see version II come out this way. Edit: I had hoped resolving this would eliminate the problems I was having with R3. Nope - turns out I just suck at it.

I leave my px5 amp on all day and connect all my wifi devices including my 360 with no problem.
When I first got it whenever I was receiving a text my signal jammed like idk wtheck ahaha. But that doesnt happen anymore. I only get bad sound if I'm out of range. |

Phantaci, I think it comes down to the router being used. For some reason mine just stomps all over the channels. I use the Netgear WNDR3700, which is a monster range-wise. I can see it 1/2 a mile from my house with my cell phone.
