im forced to play the pc version now the PSN is down.
Anyway to wall jump with a xbox 360 controller?

How are you dodging in general? To walldodge on PC, you only have to dodge (which on the keyboard would be tapping a direction twice) when you're by the wall (and in the air). note: hoverboard jump to walldodge is broken on PC. ------------- Send your PSN friend requests to: hint-korp http://unrealtournament4.com/ |

Ill try tapping stick twice. Played ctf all night with the PC players - That was alot of fun!
all custom maps
we need to do more of that on ps3.

you have to bind your directional keys to axby, and use them after a normal jump. that's how we used to do it on unreal championship before the dodge was automatic with a second jump click.

I tried using controller for my PC version aswell, but for some reason when I try to walk forward, my character walks backwards and vice versa.
No matter if I tried changing forward walking to backward, if you know what I mean.

Your gonna need to use my mutator: http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=761668 Don't forget to type in "exec gamepad.txt" in the console. I've worked out the perfect button config for UT3, you can jump and aim and fire at the same time. You can change weapons while mobile etc. Spend quite a considerable amount of time experimenting with different button combinations, but this was by far the best config (Can do some pretty nifty stuff now :)). I'd recommend those new black XBOX360 controller though, recently got one and there's a huge different vs an normal emulated one. For example you can actually use quickpick with precision, where I have trouble with non Xbox360 controllers. |
