In a match there r many ways to gain a win. What do u guys n gals think the best advantage u can have in a match would b?

knowing the map inside and out?
timing/prediction?
knowing how to use every weapon to it fullest? vehicle modes or foot
knowing every weapons power, completely?
learning ur opponents tactics?
how to u use every vehicle i every way possible?
mouse n keyboard?

learning your opponets tactics is definetly one of THE best advantages

I would say all the above! on top of that, i would also say, where you are versus where your opponent is!  Usualy always better to have altitude on your side, i.e. being higher than your opponent is!  Execution is another thing, knowing the best weapon for the current situation, i.e. if come around a corner and expect some one to be at a great distance, i equip a hitscan weapon!  If i am giong to say , heal a node, i equip a link gun before getting on the hoverboard!  Another thing i like to do, if i hit some one with a rocket, quickly switch to your enforcer and finish off the job, a direcrt rocket does 100 damage, if they had armor, that leaves 50 damage left for your enforecer, the enforcer does less damage but has a high cyclic rate on its side! my two cents!

As a heavy vehicle user, I like to know the capabilities of each. For example, when using the tank, you don't have to have a direct hit when killing someone. You can aim at the wall right next to them or the ceiling. Even when a manta comes towards me, I never aim directly at them, I always aim to the ground.

Use flak cannon.
It's basically twice as strong as rockets (180 damage - moves faster - covers larger area - still effective midrange - ricochets) and there are few situations where it's disadvanteous to use it.
Or, if you don't want to play gay like that, maybe normal weaponchoice is a better one.. ie swap to shock/sniper on midrange (even though flak often still hits..) and use boomsticks in closer quarters - I think XKaL1buR was working on a guide for weapons which includes stuff like weaponchoice.

well i believe knowing the power of ur suroundings is a very huge advantage, n if can do it creativly u can get very astounding results. example combine a scorpion self destruct with 3 shots of a flak in the air to a fully new n respawned tank n wen u land ur in the flags range to take it..thats not as creative as i can be but it gets the job done.

knowin how ur opponent plays..   cuz in duels, weapons have spawn timing so if your opponent has the shock, sniper, and rockets, and u have flak, bio and link,  you're better off knowin how he plays unless you happen to be a dirty bio rifle dude or a flak king / alt stinger kid... if you are more skilled than ur opponent then you will know how to use ur weapon, even if its u using an enforcer versus his or her rocket.... surrounding ties in with timing because that shield belt will screw u over and over again.. if you're playing someone that half decent, it doesnt matter how good of a player u are.. ur most likely going down of u dont know where to go and how to rebound urself

just 2 things on VCTF:

1. knowing where they scape. this is a principal point to do. cuz in match you got an idea 4 what
you can to do in this cases.
2. learning ur opponents tactics.

You guys do know that Remy pretty much covered this in his Duel guide? You guys should check it out in the Tutorial section. The info in there can be applied to all modes. Just a thought

Flak would work well too, an individual shrapnel is like 15 hp?
Enforcer may be quicker. nice one

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're trying to say. Sorry :/
The point I was trying to make, is that all of this info on advantages is in Remy's tutorial. It's stuff that can be applied to all modes. As far as vehicles go, just use common sense I guess. It's team based, but your individual skills as a player can greatly benefit your team if you can outsmart your foes on the opposite team. And all this talk about which advantage is the best, there's no best advantage. You need to cover everything that you possibly can. If you know the maps, u need to time the powerups as well. They both go hand in hand. Weapon usage, dodging patterns, etc. All of them go together. You miss out one, you risk losing it for you, or your teammates.

but, i think is an advantage know how to fight body to body, i mean, how to save your A.ss when you see the opponent, best moves, more practice on duels, tdm.. good idea.

if u wanna get better play against someone who can destroy u and learn the hard way to stay alive and get **** done
 
People that will hand you your a** (these people have killed me while on the phone or doing some other task while playing the game and making it look easy)
 
Warfare: TRU-Lunchy , ace, apollo, pinakul , zodiacx jp n migz, hcruix
 
Vctf: iAm members a-r members n ckc members and ether bunny! yayyy  (theyll all kill ya)
 
TDM: MEGA_shark, mega_drone, FnA , Rev crow , bumrush , phantaci , ek trendy , hcruix, tRi members
 
CTF: Vedakid , A-r-_Boricua , drone, qm members that are still active, tRi members
 
Duel: I dont duel but if you look at Fna duel thread the poeple listed there will gladly remove your head with a sniper rifle.
 
Those are the modes i play mostly, some of those people i dont know as online  friends but ive played against em and after your done playing against them your game will improve , because dying sucks and thatll happen alot playing against those guys! so really just dont leave games and stick through the beatings or youll never get better or youll  END UP AS BAD AS ME ! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :D

Learn defence first, second is how to "know" where the flagcarrier is going. And for me, most important! I play the game like a chopper sim. or a tank sim. U get the idea.. Maybe thats why i play just vCTF!?
It's basically a mindgame anyway.

Altitude is a big one, like supra said. There are some maps that I can see almost everything with the right combination of altitude and scope (sniper).

i agree, but my point on altitude was more on the lines of, being a few feet above some one, like the node house on DT, or on top of the mountain on Avalanche as opposed to be below them looking up!

thats great advice, most people dont use that to their advantage, thats why, god forbid i have to get the tank or the DW, i always choose tank, for the purpose of splash damage, as soon as i get the tank on avalanche, i shoot into the surrounding area of the center node, a few good shots into there will bring the node down, and if the orb carrier is their defending they need to watch their step! ;)
