Does anyone knows how to setup the HDD right? I bought the cable 2 days ago, configured the ps3 (audio / video) and my UT3 keeps blocking everytime I try to join a server.
There is something that I certainly don't do right, but what exactly ?!
With others games it's working ...

J'ai acheté le câble pour le HD ... tout est bien branché, la ps3 le prends en compte et la config semble la bonne
J'arrive à rentrer dans UT3 (quoique les couleurs sont assez pâles) mais quand je veux aller sur un serveur le jeu se plante et la ps3 avec.
J'ai essayé avec d'autres jeux et ça marche ... c'est ça que je ne comprends pas.

Do u mean HD? If u do it sounds like you've done something correct but can u play offline? Also are other games OK can u go online with these games? Sounds like u might have an issue with your server or connection not AV display. ------------- Cos I'm Wonderman...I'll take that knife and shove it up your a$$! |

yep, that's what I meant ... I didn't try it offline yet, but yes, the games I tried are working online ... I got another cable too .. I'm gonna test it later (maybe it's just the cable) |

C'est simple. Dis moi la réfèrence de ton écran ça peut être utile. Ps3 allumée. Si quelquechose s'affiche sur ton écran. C'est déjà bon signe. Si c'est du HD c'est encore mieux. Alors tu vas dans Parametres>Affichage>Sortie HDMI>OK>tu sélectionne 1080p après il va te demander si tu veux sortir le son en HDMI enfaite ça dépend, as tu un quel(con)que (^^) appareil qui émets un meilleur son que ta télé ? Si oui. Tu réponds NON lorsque qu'il te demande. Après tu branche un câble (rouge jaune blanc RCA) à ta ps3 ou un cable optique (pour les home cinéma ) et tu vas dans Paramétres>sortie son>tu sélectionne soit RCA ou optique. Et c'est bon. Une fois que ta configuration est faite parfaitement comme je t'ai expliqué si ça ne marche tjrs pas c'est surement un problème de l'écran. ------------- |

ça ne marche pas  ... je peux jouer UT3 offline, mais pas online . Tu crois que le fait d'avoir des custom maps affecte le HD?Référence TV : Philips, LCD FUll HD, 42" , 3000 series, 1920 x 1080p, son 20 watt RMS ... il faut autre chose ? J'ai réglé en plus les couleurs, la luminosité ... il veut RIEN savoir  |

have u changed your HD settings on PS3 to enhance HD detail? Bet u have, if so change them back and all should b ok. ------------- Cos I'm Wonderman...I'll take that knife and shove it up your a$$! |

I just figured out why it was not working. My psn account is "valjohn" but ages ago I renamed my ps3 user id "val". Today I was playing UT3 offline in HD and on the scores table it was indicated "val" (?!!). So I changed my ps3 id to valjohn and IT'S WORKING !!! I don't understand why it was all about such an insignifiant detail but I'm happy that I found out what it was  UT3 online in HD from now on !!!!! |

^^perhaps bec "Val" has not got permission to access the Internet/PSN network? I thought u sounded like u connected it ok but idkw other games had access and UT3 didnt on Val, dont think age restriction applies to getting access but at least u found the problem. ------------- Cos I'm Wonderman...I'll take that knife and shove it up your a$$! |
