Hello iAM, New to the site, but not the game. After black ops has pissed me off for the final time, I've come back to this wonderful game. I have a question for everyones set up on their controller though. I have mine mapped out much differently than most b/c my left thumb gets strained easily while trying to jump. What I have done was; L1: Jump L2: Next Weapon L3: Jump [just for reaction] R1: Primary Fire R2: Secondary Fire etc... most else is quite basic. I haven't found a good method to map the mic or weapon selector yet (hardly use it). The talking methods in this game is it's own problem though. What layout does everyone else use? And why? |

I jump with L2
alt fire l1
r1 primary fire
r2 next weapon
mic button is right dpad
I use those because they work best for me L2 just feels perfect for jumping. makes for perfect jumping and gunning ------------- |

| I don't use a mic, but your idea for R1 and R2 are ok. I prefer normal settings because having R2 as second fire is weird. reason is that one is shock combo, long bow, and sniper. its easier just to L1 then R1 rather R1 and R2. second, no one use second fire alot. I wouldn't set jump to either L buttons. its faster on x-button. seems like you wanna use both hands but ut3 is too fast so just use your best hand for action. overall, I would just stick to normal settings. |

@ax412: Yeah, I used L2 for a little while, but found that it affected my L1 to much. @hieuy: That's exactly why I did it, and I find that using X puts me at to much of a disadvantage. This is why all games should allow for custom controls - we all have different prefernces. |

I gotz L1- secondary, R1- primary, L2- W/S, R3- Nxt wpn, X- jump pad_ dwn- empty, L3- empty, block- ??? Worx great 4 me!! -------------

R1 - primary fire L1 - secondary fire R2 - Impact Hammer L2 - jump X - previous weapon O - next weapon The rest is pretty much deafult ------------- |
