Anyone have any experience with automated material handling or point of sale systems?

Although I'm working with a cross disciplinary team of students, industry experience would be valuable.

Im a 1st line specialist with POS systems from big Europe companies like:

HEMA
Praxis
Hunkemöller
M&S Mode

Perhaps I can hep you with any questions related if your systems may be related.
Some systems I am quite familiar with are:

rPos / Dynavision
Pandora 
POSFlow
