you can pick your own teams like yall wanted to but you just cant stack your team. i think this is the best way to do it imo but if not o well i was just throwing this out there.

Randomize the teams and you wont have any problems. The money system is dumb. Base someones skill off a number. I thought that was stupid when we did that for the TDM league thing that failed. 1. Exciting new teams/formations 2. nominate a captain once teams are formed 3. play that's it. Faster process. We played with the friends tournament. we did the stupid captain crap. Bum even if we randomize teams there has to be an order to it to make it fair. I know your looking for things to be different and they will. A player with your talent.. it shouldn't matter which team your on as long as its fair you'll shine. Give it a chance and see the outcome.. That system has been done for TDM but never for CTF. |

Random teams are not competitive. Somebody will end up on a garbage team. Random teams is what you do when a game is new/super active. You don't do random teams when its already established who is great, good, ok, and bad. Maybe let a captain choose one player and randomise the rest. But don't make it all random. How does a draft become inferior to randomizing teams? With a draft you are the one who has control in what team you want, you just have to be smart with your picks. I know you have a less probability of getting the players you want yet there is a higher probability of teams being on a more even basis. We do not have to go to crazy with the salary cap like it was done with the TDM league where we were using $ in the range of the thousands. We can keep it on a simple basis similar to a scale of 1 to 10. "1$" being unkown/inexperienced to "10$" being Elite/Communicator/Leader. Really a vote needs to be taken on the matter, not one person is just going to decide this. Put it up to vote. If you do not like the outcome then you do not have to participate. Either way it is still going to be fair and fun. Also if you do captain and draft a team and you are disappointed with your results and quit, letting the team down; you'll just be replaced with another captain closer to if not the same as your value. So moan and groan all you want. It's a dead game that is hanging on by a thread that so happens to be this community. The community is not ran or moderated by "1" player's thoughts and opinions but rather all opinions and votes. Put it up to vote whether a not a draft system should be used in determining teams or to just Randomize all the players signed up in the pool to teams, increasing the probability of one sided match-ups and games. |

When is the draft? Certain ak47 members should not be allowed to play as they're are unreliable (dvirus and 1 or two others) and players like strider should not be allowed to play as well. (quits ut3 to be the best at another game and comes back 1 day later) But in all seriousness flakes should not be in this tourny. ------------- |

| The way things are looking the draft will be sometime this weekend. From looking at the wf tourney Strider was there ready to play every match and thats what we need. Besides we are still lacking players to start. Saving 2 spots for Tour and Bio... So there's 3 spots left and we'll lock it up. Rico is going to do the draft for us this weekend. We are going to do it through IRC Chat but he'll explain everything for us in detail. |
