Lexus claims to be working on a prototype hoverboard using magnetic levitation. The link above is to an article which came out today on the British website The Telegraph and includes a short video. However, it only shows the board and a foot stepping on it, not anyone actually riding the thing. Apparently there are two other companies working on the same thing. One of the companies has a contract with the US military to create a riding version of the board sort of like those ones on the Star Wars film.
